We are former owner of a week in July. When our daughter married, we deeded our week back. Since 2001 we have always felt at home. We are well aware there are fancier time shares on the Branson strip. I don't believe you can beat this location. I regret to say we can no longer book a rci week here. I hear the resort has been sold. My guess is a huge remodel coming soon. This place will be the hottest thing in town.
DO NOT STAY HERE ! BE WARNED ! .Deserves ZERO stars ! Think cheap , CHEAP ! The Kimberling Inn sign was falling apart - that should have been a warning . I used the one week prepaid time share - therefore I stayed . The bed mattresses are soft and not firm - uncomfortable to sleep in . The walls are thin - can hear your neighbor’s conversations. The kitchen is microscopic- Motel rooms converted to small time share unit to accommodate tiny kitchen . Kitchen sink is tiny! There are NO counter tops to prepare food . You have to go all the way to the front desk for coffee, soap and towels . They don’t give you enough towels.. No daily room service at all ! It should be identified as a cheap motel which needs immediate renovations ! The couch is old and needs replacing! Heater not working well . I regret choosing Kimberling Inn but this is the only listed time share close to Branson , Missouri.
The only redeeming feature is you can park close to your unit- unless you are assigned upstairs. STAY AWAY ! DON’T STAY at Kimberling Inn.!!!
I’m surprised at the low reviews. We had a wonderful stay! The view was stunning from our room. Everything was in order, room was stocked with towels, dish soap, etc. we had all the dishes we needed in our kitchen so we could cook. It was relaxing and quiet. There’s a pool, mini golf, dock access, game room, tennis, playground, etc. we had a great time! Was the decor in the room dated, yes it was, but the room was very clean and comfortable. The area was quiet and the view was amazing. We would absolutely stay again.
It is an older resort. Our condo was great. We had a dishwasher, w/d, central AC and full kitchen. We enjoyed sitting on he balcony in the afternoons. We were able to rent a boat and tube about a mile away. The resort no longer offers free kayaks. This is the first year they are not offering them. They have boat slips available if you want to bring your own boat. A fishing dock was available. A grocery store is across he street. Great food nearby. Plenty to do at the resort without leaving if you are looking for relaxing. Branson is about 40 minutes away. They have clubs and balls for their little puttputt course. We did not check out the sauna. We passed the tennis court, pool and playground to get to our room but did not use them. They had people at them when we drove by. The front desk staff was helpful. They have a towel exchange on wednesdays if you do not have w/d in your unit. Our family of 4 were very comfortable in our condo. We would stay again. Perfect if you do not want to be in the hustle and bustle of downtown Branson. We did not have any problems during our stay.
Our outdated room from 1980 had disgusting carpeting and sofa upholstery. The cigarette smell was overwhelming, and we used more than half a bottle of Febreze in an effort to kill that smell. The sofa bed was no good to sleep on. With some attention, this place could be great.
Older property but clean. Quiet, loved the view and absolutely loved that resort did not allow pets. Staff was very friendly and nice.||Needed some maintenance and would have been great. The stove only had 2 burners that worked. Oven would work for a little bit then shut off. Outside of fridge was stained. The toilet in main bathroom wobbled when you sat on it.||
My husband and I are first time visitors to this resort. It’s away from the traffic of Branson but close enough to enjoy the attractions. The room is clean and comfy. The texting option to communicate with the front desk is a plus. Any issues we had were taken care of quickly. There’s a grocery store a few minutes away which is very convenient. We’ll definitely book this place again.
First room air conditioner did not work. Moved us to a different room and wifi did not work. We had to go to wakmart and buy an ethernet cable so we could connect to internet. Before we came we wer told that the riim was a short walk to the dock/ It was in fact a very long walk, especially for two seniors with walkers. Staff was very nice.
