Best WLM Reviews
What a wonderful place! It's clearly family run, and very well run. The food was EXCELLENT, the portions were hearty and the price right. If you want some good, authentic Moroccan food, this is the place to go.
So good. The starter - pastilla - was one of the best starters ever. The chicken tagine was very fresh and served as an enormous portion. Great restaurant!
You feel like you are in Morroco, then you go outside and get your bubble burst. 10/10
Food, seats, background music, service ????
Very good food and friendly service.
Try the taijna (traditional Tajine) with lamb, delicious with very tender slowly cooked meat and a big portion of warm vegetables.
It's a small place, and the interior design is low key. The food was fantastic, we had the Tapa's Medina as a starter and then each of us a Tajine, with was fabulous and delicious. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was logistical....we could not pay with card since their card reader apparently had a problem, and then they did not have small change when we paid in cash (we did not either...:)
Very friendly but limited in their communication if you are not a West-Flanders speaking person. It a nice place to be, cosy with dark wood and some Marrocan accents but otherwise very traditional interior. The food is rather dull, no depth, no layers of tastes, no spices coming through in the dishes as you would expect. We had a fish soup and that was ok, as an exception. Had high hopes but have eaten much better Marrocan in other places for sure. To expensive, simple conclusion.
Loved this place. Nice little modern twists on traditional Moroccan cuisine. The staff were really friendly and informative. This is a little Jen of a place I didn’t expect to find in Blankenberge.
Tasty Moroccan food. Cosy interior and very friendly service. Terrace on the small Manitoba square
