Best WLM Reviews
Tiny place with good honest food. We had the grilled fish, meat stew and mussels. All the dishes were really yummy. Very passionate owner and good service but the place looks a bit dainty and decor is a bit of a let down.
Not very nice restaurant (cold white light like in a hospital) . Strange salmon carpaccio with a somehow sweet sauce. The 1/2 lobster was ok. The profiteroles were horrible (dry and just coming from fridge, not from that week). Service girl was very friendly and helpful. Maybe it was a bad day with an another cook as usual?
The Sea Bream dish was perhaps the best cooked fish I have ever consumed, and the vegetables and potatoes complemented well, highly recommend. Reservations are recommended if you want a table though the hostess seated us as walk-ins; cash is the preferred payment. The chef was personable and pleasantly present among the guests, even making jokes with us over a specialty order of the Deux Salmon which was also deemed "excellent".
My Madou, the Old Houka gathering become one of the best seafood restaurant, the place is just perfect in size in addition to it's coziness and friendly reception, the freshness of the seafood dishes are incredible, I would recommend this corner to all my United Nations colleagues with a 10% discount upon showing UN Laissez Passez. Congratulation to management for their warm reception and services .
Nice and lovely place, so romantic and the food was amazing!
Quality, quantity and price are perfect
Delicious mussels, fries and spaghetti although a few pieces of the mussels weren't fresh. You can use The Fork app to get some discounts. This restaurant is run by a lovely and friendly couple.
My partner and I decided to visit Madou fish and seafood after seeing the reviews and we have to say the meals were excellent! The fish itself was cooked to perfection and while it's a small restaurant you can see the passion that goes into the cooking. It was lovely to see the chef came and asked us how things are. Very friendly people that deserve lots and lots of success. For fish lovers this restaurant is a hidden gem and should be on your list to visit when in Brussels!
The dishes are tasty but can be improved.
Very nice waitress ????
