Best WLM Reviews

Very bad experience. We went there because we thought it looked nice and it was quite a sunny day so we wanted some fresh cocktail. Instead we got some watery cocktail wannabe kind of drink. Since we speak Dutch and also French but out mothertongue is dutch, we tried to speak dutch. Jette is my hometown and everywhere else people at least try to speak Dutch as well, but that wasn't the case here. We started in French then but they simply replied in broken English. Which is how our order got messed up, and that is understandable; but then saying it was the customer's fault because "we said 1 and not 2", which was not the case, is not understandable. The service was very bad, we tried several times to get the servers' attention to pay, but they just wouldn't even look at us. The food we got was not worth the money we paid for it. It tasted quite bland and since they only brought one of the two things we asked for, we didn't quite enjoy it either. And one plate we only received half, we ordered frenched fries with homemade mayonnaise but only got the fries without even salt or pepper. I don't recommend this place, but I do hope they improve the things I've mentioned.
Very bad service, overpriced food and a lot of wasted time. We ordered frites with homemade mayonnaise for €4, but only got some frites with no salt on (and there was no salt on the table too) without the mayonaise, a cocktail, but there was no alcohol in it, tasted like water with a little taste of strawberry, the plants on the table looked very dead and they also couldn’t understand us. We spoke in dutch but when we knew they couldn’t speak dutch we tried to speak our best french but they immediately answered in english. But we can conclude that they’re not fluently english because they misunderstood us completely. After they served the food, they didnt care about us and we had to wait for 30 minutes before we could pay, we literally had to scream to get some attention… We frequently waved but they just didn’t see us for 30 minutes and it was not even that busy. I would not go there, the food is not even half the money worth and its just an unfriendly experience.
We watched the match(belgium vs Brazil). They put up big screen near this place. The food was really awesome.
Extremely slow service. We had to wait for half an hour before we got asked what we would like to drink. Then a long wait to get our drinks. Then again waiting for the bill to arrive and we had to ask for our change before we could leave. The waitress didn't know which beers are served and had to tend way to many tables. In the end we sat there for two hours and had only one drink which is quite ridiculous. This way the place will go broke once again I fear
Unfriendly and rude waiter (older men with glasses and facial stubble). Had us waiting outside more than 30 minutes. Served 4 more tables that came after us. When we confronted him, he laughed in our face. He blamed it on a his non-working tablet. However, he managed to serve the other 4 tables (white/caucasian customers) with pen and paper.
In the end he belittled us in front of the other customers by saying "pas grave"
So according to your staff it is not serious that in 2022 people still get discriminated?
Very fast service done and tasted delicious. Very sweet staff.
Clean place to eat not even one dirt found.
They have places where you can charge your phone.
Just one downfall is the price, would like it a bit cheaper because for the same price I can go and eat in a better restaurant.
Trying to find a place to eat some original Belgian french fries, I found this place close to Koekelberg.
The fries were good, but nothing spectacular. The portions were very big and the price was decent. I actually made a mistake buying two big size portions. I realized only afterwards that I got too many fries. They also have some tables outdoor.
The fries were nice and creamy(though some of them were too crunchy, but it happens when you fry something so i understand). Also the price was cheaper than the places in the city center so overall it was a great place to stop by and have some nice belgian frits!
