After seeing the reviews me and my wife were a bit skeptical, but everything went splendid! Good service, we didn't have to wait long for the food. Overall food tasted great and fresh (tacos and burrito) Would definitely recommend to give it a try if you like Mexican food!
My friends enjoyed our food. They really liked the quesadilla, papas fritas and tacos. But the Empanadas de chorizo was dry and not well stuffed. People who served us were very nice especially the Argentinian boy.
So eitherway the owners changed from the ones a year ago, or they underwent a total restructuring.
But the service was good, maybe a bit slow, but good and friendly.
The nachos were really good as well. Good cheese sauce, as well as the Chili-con-carne.
Worth to check it out imo
We don’t recommend this place. The food was not so good also the people were not that friendly. The payment system was so called “broken” and we had to pay them with cash. They let my man go to the atm, while we ask for paying digital or payconic or bank transfer. As good as he is, he did that and then suddenly they didnt have enough change, so we paid more. As tourists, we were very disappointed with these practices.
Great food, unfortunately we had to wait for an hour even though it wasn't crowded. People who came in 15minutes after us had finished their food by the time we started eating, despite the fact that we were the one's with a child.... pretty poor service on that part, on the food part everything was very nice and tasty, no complaining there. Just , maybe dont try to do as much when not everyone is there?
The food was okay, too expensive for the quality and amount but mostly fine. We ordered a fajita and the content was the typical of a burrito (but with chickpeas instead of black beans).
Also two of the fajitas were not assembled? They gave us a tray with the content and the tortilla on the side which was strange.
However the manager was rude towards one of the waitress (the waitress was very nice by the way) so the atmosphere was not great. We we're there waiting to take away the food and they didn't accept card not wanted to use payconiq. I think they could have told us about this when we were waiting instead of when we were about to leave.
In summary the food was okay but based on my experience and seeing other reviews there seems to be a management problem.
I’ve been a few times at this restaurant and the only good thing you’ll gonna find is the staff. They’re very nice good workers , they provide an excellent service and they treat you very well. They got good food, however it can take hours to get served as the problem is in the kitchen time management and the manager is an old guy extremely rude, unprofessional and crazy. He yells at the workers and provides an unpleasant atmosphere. Definitely he should look for a psychiatrist . Neighbours around already told this is an old problem and he doesn’t pay the staff that’s why they always changing people.
Absolutely the worst experience I ever had at a restaurant. After waiting for almost 2 hours, we hear the owner saying to a few other customers that they ran out of food and they won't be able to serve them.
We received our food eventually another 30 minutes later. The food was ok but dry and no sauces were served with it.
Disgraceful.
Stay away from this place and eat next door at Le Galion.
