Best WLM Reviews

Cosy restaurant with honest Italian cuisine. We certainly loved it. The menu offers a variety of dishes, and certainly avoids following the obvious dishes. You will not find scampi diavola, but instead a Venetian veal liver with onion. Charming hosts and exquisite chef. Wine choice is limited but good ❤️
The welcome is charming, the wines and dishes are divine, the sabayon is to die for, we go there whenever we get the chance even if we are a few kilometers from Dilbeek. We recommend it - it's our favorite Italian restaurant in Belgium! Sandrine & Pierre
The pizza's are really good, everything is fresh. The service is somewhat chaotic and the place is a bit small. We now stick to picking up the food and eat it at home.
The Italian owner used to be the drummer (6 months) with Joe Cocker but a much longer time with Adamo. He had a restaurant on Sablon / Zavel in Brussels but sold it and made the move in 2015 to this little satellite town of Sint Katherina Lombeek just off the E40 going in the direction of Gent +/- 12 km west of Brussels.
There are two sections in the restaurant, a front section and walking past the bar into the back section with 30 places with a direct view of the kitchen (where we sat). The Italian owner speaks Italian, French, Spanish and Portugees and is now learning Dutch, his restaurant now being in the Flemish part of Belgium.
The typical Italian food selection was priced democratically with pizzas varying between 10-16 Euro. A very good Poêle de Coquilles Saint Jacques cost 26 Euro and Linguini Vongole 16 brought to our table personally by the cook. (This is probaly not the case when the restaurant is very busy.) Strangely enough they did not have a wine card, but the waitress willing brought a selection of several bottles of red wine to the table of which we chose a beautiful Montepulciano D'Abrusso Aldemà 2011 for 32 Euro (which I would have preferred a little cooler since it was a warm summer evening). Being a quiet evening the owner spent some time chatting with us about his life as former drummer and world travelling adventures. He also made sure we had received a Grappa / Lemoncello on the house. We left well satisfied and told the owner that it was the first time we visited but certainly not the last!
Good food very polite service
Top!
Super
Très bonne adresse à Dilbeek. La cuisine est italienne et bonne, ainsi que les pizzas. Le patron est au fourneau et Madame sert les clients avec bcp de bienveillance.
