Best WLM Reviews
I had the Peking Duck, and it was quite good. Between this dish and Mapo Tofu, they are my go-to dishes at Chinese restaurants and what I use to base my reviews. The Peking Duck here had a nice crisp, and the additions were good. Service was good and being the only one in the restaurant at the time, the atmosphere was nice. Overall, it is a decent place to go for Chinese food.
Worst Chinese restaurant ever! The food was just barely edible. We got 2 vegetarian springrolls (€8.50 EACH!!!) which had been fried in oil used at least 3 thousand times: they only tasted of rancid oil! I couldn’t eat mine. Then we got some vegetarian chow mein (€15): first of all, the noodles were clearly overcooked Italian spaghetti! They were dripping with old oil and had only a few pieces of carrots and onions. Tasted of just that: overcooked oily spaghetti. We also got a vegetarian stir fry (€16): again oily and quite heavy! For the first time ever with Chinese takeout, we threw out the leftovers. How this place is still open is a mystery to me! Awful experience. Avoid!
We went there for dinner, nobody was inside, except the restaurant's staff.
The place was like any other restaurant, nothing special to mention. Some members of the staff don't know English, so they keep asking one of them to translate us the menu ( was in Dutch ).
Talking about the food, we ordered some dishes and tried them. Chow mein with beef and shrimp was good, the pekking duck came with its toppings to roll it with some vegetables, a must. Also we had special shangai beef and steamed dumplings with sauce, both of them were very good.
All the food was almost served at once, luckily we seated on a table for four people and all the food fitted there.
Found a dishwash wire in the food.
Got just a sorry
And paid for everything
We should have just walked out
There is a lady just sitting there to be rude to all. We didnt make any arguments as we didn’t have time! We just left!
Wouldn’t recommend!!!
Visited this place for dinner
A good service from the lady who seemed to be fluent in French/Dutch and English
Ordered starters and main and food was tasty and did have 5.60 added as tips on the bill, was not sure it was local custom to add that we paid
One of the best traditional chinese restaurants in Bruges! Also really good service.
I had the most valued lunch meal here. The 3 course lunch at 18eur is quite a steal! Good Chinese food as well!
Quick service and the food tasted great!! I ordered the vermicelli goreng with shrimp and it was lovely!! Recommend when looking for an affordable, nice meal when visiting Brugge.
