Best WLM Reviews

THE worst tamales I have ever had. Got them from Ikedas, California Country Market. Nothing but a ton of the cornmeal outside and hardly anything (pork, chili — only one narrow strip) inside. Don’t waste your time. I’ve had better from grocery stores
This place is very good I got the chicken and pork tamales and the flavor is absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend checking this place out after talking to the owner. He said this place has been around for 30 years so that definitely proves how good it is! The sauce is very good as well. Haven’t had a salsa like this in a while!! I paid $10 for two chicken, tamales and two pork tamales!
Some of the best tamales I've had. As soon as you walk in you can see these are being made fresh everyday. Never been disappointed tamales and salsa are delicious. Highly recommend
Well if it's traditional, tasty, tamales that are made very consistent, and are always made tasty, and served hot, I got a spot for you to try. Chepo's Tamales serves and has tamales of all varieties, they stock, pork, chicken, Chile and cheese, and even offer pineapple with raisins. They are a quality little shop, family owned and operated and they do tamales right. Been eating their tamales for years, and have never had a bad tamale ever from them. They taken one thing, and made it consistently for years. I drove out today in order to get a few tamales for lunch, and a snack for dinner too, and needed to get a few fresh pictures to post. If you are in the Vacaville area, then definitely look them up, call ahead, and they'll have your order ready when you arrive. They only have a small store, but don't think that their quality is lacking, because it isn't at all, high quality product, and at a real down home price. I would highly recommend giving them a try. Enjoy and as always, Bon Appetit, and stay safe and well.
After hearing so much about how good their tamales were and being too lazy to make my own recently I tried these. Was not impressed in the least. Probably the worst I've had from any restaurant or takeout I've tried. Dry and tasteless. No amount of homemade salsa could improve the dryness or lack of flavor.
If you blink you may miss this authentic tamale and burrito restaurant...
Nestled in Elmira, CA
Amazing service, wonderful flavorful handmade food, it will be a shame to miss out on this event of the tounge.
5 out of 5 stars ????????????????????
Uncommon. Chepos is a jewel in Solano county. Hot fresh tamales daily, 7 days a week, starting at 7am.
I recommend a couple of pork, a couple of cheese and two side cups of green Chile.
There's nothing like visiting at 7am and getting tamales fresh from the Ouija.
Possibly the best tamales I've ever had, except my own...
Excellent! Packed with meat! Moist and crazy delicious!!!
