Just ordered a take out order from Cheng's for the first time. The restaurant had a very nice atmosphere and will definitely come back to dine in. We ordered Seafood Pan-fried Noodles and chicken with vegetables. I had her make the chicken spicy it was a little spicy next time, I'd say more spicy, but it was very good and tasted fresh. We honestly didn't try the pan-fried noodles. We just sampled some of them, and they were tasty, but we ate everything over the rice. The seafood dish was very good. There's not a lot of meat, but then again, shrimp and lobster are expensive, LOL. I really liked the chicken and vegetables. Ladies that waited on me we're very nice. The fortune made me laugh!
I love it here. My mom and I think it is a great spot. I love the tofu options. They are always very nice.
Cheng's....what happened!?! We've been weekly customers for over 20 years and I'm telling you...the food was HORRIBLE tonight! Watery flavorless sauce and old cold mushy fried rice. ZERO flavor. WTH? We will not be back. Time to just eat at home...even if it's bologna sandwiches. Too risky with all these places anymore it seems. Another once-good restaurant bites the dust.
The waitress was very kind, thank you for that. The food was faster than we expected. We thought it was going to be really good. The fried rice was funny. Egg rolls were excellent.
My family has ordered from here for several years, not having any problems. WOW..what a change tonight! Ordered Budda Delight, Shrimp Hunan, Chicken Hunan, House Fried Rice. The first 3 meals were prepared ALL the same way! First one was Budda Delight with tofu in a watered down soy with zero flavor(no soy flavor, actually no flavor). The shrimp Hunan was the Budda Delight only with shrimp in it, with the same watery brown sauce..no Hunan sauce! The Chicken Hunan was Buddha Delight again..no Hunan sauce! The Chicken Fried Rice was flavorless and old! I called them since this was take out to tell them about the food and I got the run around about who was the Manager and was lied to 3 times! Finally, the woman said she was the manager and side her name was Cheng! When I started telling her about the poor quality food she started giving me the run around again which really irrated me and told her that I would NEVER eat there again, that I was finished..she said I was terrible and I said YES I WAS LEAVING A TERRIBLE REVIEW! Guess this was my going away meal! SO LONG!
Ordered takeout from Cheng’s last night after reading multiple good reviews and got two orders of the soggiest General Tso’s chicken I’ve ever eaten as well as the fact that the sauce was very artificial tasting. The chicken was mushy and gross in texture, and we now have two orders of leftovers we probably won’t be eating. Crab Rangoon was soggy as well. Had to reheat everything in air fryer to try to get it crispy and the chicken did not change texture. Really disappointed and probably won’t be back. ($50 meal)
Been going here for years. Good food and good quality all around. Fair prices. Does me right. I’ve been to a few different Chinese restaurants in the area, and they are the ones I’ve settled on. Highly recommend.
Our money was stolen, leading to a family dispute, due to extra charges added without our knowledge. It's disappointing to be taken advantage of by a restaurant we trusted. This establishment has proven to be untrustworthy, and we recommend avoiding it in the future.
