I loved the ambiance and the food was good! The drimks were tasty but not Strong. I had the 24k gold, Vodka flights and thr Pink Tink. The only thing i didnt like was feeling rushed after we ate. We were given the bill without asking for it and the guy who served us that looked lke Avant was nice. However, he told us others need that table and i was still drinking my drink. i thought we was gona be allowed to stay longer for the entertainment as well.Overall nice atmosphere and food was good. Drinks could be better for the price and please ask if we want the bill before slapping on table next time. Oh and the camera lady was a bit thirsty for pics. Thanks!
Chemistry is the BEST place for any special occasion. Our waiter took care of my partner and I like we were family. He sat by us, joked around, and gave us the best suggestions. There was no wait and the food came super fast. There was a jazz musician playing and a photographer walking around taking pictures of guests. Not only was all of the atmosphere and service incredible, but the food was incredible. It was the best salmon I’ve ever had in my life, well worth the price. I will suggest this place to everyone I know looking for good food. I will be coming back next time I visit. Thank you!!
Took my guy to dinner here for his birthday and everything was great. Our reservation was on a Wednesday evening so we got to enjoy live jazz music. Our server was Ray, he’s really good at what he does and made sure we enjoyed the experience.
Popcorn, food, drinks, music, ambiance and overall experience 10/10. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in Chicago.
Great vibe, staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. Evany'e was our waitress and she was awesome as well. We had steak, lamb chops and the vodka pasta and everything was on point. Steaks are the some of the best I've had. Will definitely be returning. Oh and make sure you are ready to spend some money, they are expensive but worth it!
Had an awesome time! The DJ was great the hype man walking around the floor as we ate was awesome..the food was good just wished it was a little hotter.... our waitress was mid and the experienced seemed a little rushed. The other staff was friendly and helpful...The passion fruit mimosa was good though... I'd go back just for the atmosphere... not necessarily for the food or service
The service & the food had me in a choke hold... Great service, really friendly & accommodating...& the FOOD, EXCELLENT! Chemistry overall is a good date spot, girls' night out, birthday dinner/brunch perfect atmosphere!
I had a heard a lot of people saying chemistry was overrated (mainly due to pricing) but I really enjoyed how nice an experience they present to you upon entry. Parking in the lower level garage was easy and free with validation. The grilled salmon was UNREAL, Caesar salad with salmon was delicious. The butter cake was everything it’s hyped up to be. They have plenty of entertainment and nice lighting to set a mood, and they have date question cards on the tables. Very creative and I had a great time with my date. Would definitely like to come back for special occasions
Modern day Cotton Club vibes ???????? I absolutely adore this restaurant. From the concept, execution, customer service, food, decor, live entertainment...i could go on-- everything was absolutely impeccable. Better than I couldve hoped or dreamed. So romantic and SO needed for the black community. I am at a loss for word so if you're reading this....stop reading and go! Yes it's pricey, yes it's a bit loud, yes it's pretty busy.... STILL GO! Went here for date night with my husband and it exceeded our expectations...be prepared to spend $100 per person. I had a ball and will be back. Love that this place is black owned....only note I would leave for management is the seating arrangement could use a bit of an improvement. Due to the activity and livelihood, it felt like groups of 5 or more should be seated toward in the center. It would be nice if couples could have more intimate experience out of the way or off to the side to really set the mood. The seating could make this venue even more romantic than what it is. That is my only critique, otherwise 10/10 would definitely Recommend. ????
