Best WLM Reviews

This place was awful from start to finish. The service was terrible we waited for everything from a drink to ordering all way to getting the check. They are high priced for mediocre food. We started out with Cesar salads that had a dressing that tasted like fish and a burnt loaf of bread. My water glass was dirty. We both had the prim rib and potatoes. The prime rib had zero flavor and it was tough. The potatoes tasted like they could be instant and the asparagus was hard. We will not be returning to this establishment.
When my husband and I checked in at Casey Key Mainland, we were not expecting to enjoy such a wonderful dinner at Chef Rolf's! We had been meandering down the coast, eating at many different places, and this dinner was one of the best! What a hidden gem! The service was great in a casual atmosphere, and the menu was diverse. We enjoyed Buffalo Cauliflower (which I am sure was blanched and hand battered). If you want to try a great Swiss dish, get the Poulet Maderia. The Shrimp Scampi Pasta is outstanding; and the bread... wow... reminded me of bread from the Amish area of PA where i grew up. Blueberry Old-Fashioned, martini and a high quality dinner, less than $90. Highly recommend Chef Rolf's.
Terrible experience with terrible food. We had reservations for cheese fondue. Reservation was lost and we even confirmed twice. They were willing to make us the fondue which had such a strong Kirsh flavor (fermented black cherry) we were left with this bitter flavored goo. Could barely taste the cheese. Waitress who was lovely wrongly implied salad or soup came with the meal which we ended up being charged for. Upon our complaint which I can’t say I have ever done we were given $10 off the meal.. We did get the salad off the price but basically paid more than forty dollars for a glass of wine with tip. I would give it zero stars if I could.
Love this place! Great food at reasonable prices! Love the breakfast here too!
Wow! Met my kids from Sarasota for Sunday brunch and everything was awesome! The Swiss Brunch was excellent and I would recommend it for a filling meal. Thanks Chef for an excellent meal and our server was very attentive and personable. I especially appreciate the cloth tablecloths and napkins. We enjoyed the piano music in the background as well. All in all just superb!
Came to eat on Christmas Day buffet. I have never had such a gross meal in my life. Not to mention how dirty everything was. I picked up my first clean plate only to feel wet soggy stuffing stuck to the bottom. I got a paper bowl of soup and asked for clean spoon to go with it. The waitress brought a handful of spoons that had dirty dish water and pieces of food still on them. I asked a different waitress for a clean spoon and she stated she was embarrassed at the dirty spoons I was given. The beef was hard chunks, the fish was frozen and tasteless, and the lobster bisque didn’t have anything but broth. The dessert menu had food smeared on the bottom. I was excited to try this restaurant however became quickly disappointed.

Had reservations for their Sunday fondue. Arrived to find we had no reservations but that was the least of our problems.
Server asked if we wanted soup or salad with the fondue
Fondue arrived and upon our first taste it wasn’t what you’d expect (cheese), it was a
Very Strong, bitter alcohol taste, overpowering the cheese. There was absolutely NO taste or flavor of cheese at all.
We attempted to eat it but could not.
Our server apologized and said she could take $10 off each of our checks (fondue was $32.50 EACH!)
End result, paying $35 for something you could NOT eat plus a glass of wine is utterly ridiculous. There should have been NO charge for this inedible mess
Our team came down on a training trip and got catered twice a day for 13 days from Chef Rolph! The food was consistent and good. They were able to feed all 60 of us twice a day which was impressive. Definitely a well done establishment and Chef Rolph knows what he's doing.
