I saw a review that said “best breakfast in Springfield” and they weren’t lying. After days of being disappointed by the restaurants and food I had been having in Springfield on a trip, I was so happy to have some actually good food. I got blueberry pancakes and hash browns… so yummy!! The pancake was huge and I swear I asked for the small one. The hash browns were great and not soaking with grease. The environment and concept was great. I would definitely go again and I think about the next time I can go back!!
Surprisingly although it was super busy, the service was fast and on point. The food was delicious, the potatoes are worth pointing out, they were seasoned and so tasty! The pancake was the size of the plate, I couldn’t finish it all. We will be coming here again!
The place was nice decorate, really gave me old school vibes. The food was good, I thought it was regular breakfast food. The pumpkin French toast was really good! I would come again. My man thought the horse shoe was good to

I love this place! I’ve been here multiple times and I always love getting the massive pancake. They have good toast and good potatoes too. Service is great and I definitely recommend!
Fun place. The outside looks like a barracks, but inside it's a hive of activity. Kitschy advertising signs - Sinclair Oil, Eastern Airlines - vie with Elvis and Marilyn for wall space. Very attentive wait staff, and a pretty extensive menu.
I got the fisherman's breakfast: 2 eggs, toast, potatoes and choice of catfish or walleye. It was good, but when I saw the bloke at the table next to me eating the catfish sandwich, which featured 2 large filets on slabs of marbeled rye, I made a mental note to order that next time I'm passing through Springfield. My daughter had the most attention-grabbing dish: a chocolate chip pancake as large as the 33 1/3 vinyl records also on the wall.
Fabulous breakfast at an incredibly price, and friendly, fast service in keeping with the mid century modern theme! You won’t be disappointed at Charlie Parker’s!
I came here for the first time and it was delicious. I had the chicken and waffles. They were great. Our waitress also did a really good job, even with it being busy.
OK, don't judge the outside at all. Once you open that door, you will be blown away by this place.
Talk about a hidden gem big time. The staff is fabulous along with warm and welcoming to boot. The last time I was in Springfield, there wasn't enough time to make it before it closed, which is 2pm people.
The parking lot was packed, but there were a couple of tables open. Phew made me so happy.
Big Shout Out to TT our waitress, she was on point the entire meal with such a great personality too. Big Asset to Charlie Parkers,so friendly and able to answer all our questions, poor thing, lol.
We both decided on breakfast,which they serve all day. Sorry when the food came. I totally forgot to take pictures for ya all, trust me the food is delicious ????
The decor is just marvelous as you don't see real diners too much anymore that have been around for decades. Ensure you get your butts in, and they have Daily Specials, too. Today, it was Cstfish or Walleye with cole slaw and fries I believe looked scrumptious as it went by our table.

I enjoyed the Biscuits Breakfast, and it was yummy.
Little Brother wants to go back to do the Four Stack Challenge again to read the menu for details.
Outstanding Diner, and you will totally freak once you walk in. If not, I'll buy your meal in my mind, I will wink wink ????
