Best WLM Reviews
We decided to go here on a whim and we were not disappointed! The atmosphere is so on point, and you feel welcomed immediately stepping through the door. The walls are adorned with super cool and empowering artwork. It's such a fresh modern atmosphere, but it's definitely comfortable, like chilling at a friend's house. We had an amazing time playing ping pong. When you go, don't forget to check out their specialty chicken and Chilli chicken. All of the food was fresh and delicious. You should be very clear about how spicy you want your food because it can get spicy! All in all, I can't wait to go back!
All good things come to an end. Whenever I visit in Indianapolis, this was my go to Indian spot. I just had Uber eats deliver some garlic butter, chicken, and Tikka marsala. The butter chicken has bones in it and it has curry because my fingers are turning yellow
Chapati is hands down the BEST Indian restaurant and overall restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. My boyfriend and I come here at least once every couple of weeks. There are so many vegan options also! The service is incredible and we are always greeted with so much kindness and warmth. The food comes out super fast and is always PERFECT.
If you haven’t tried Chapati, it is a MUST.
So this place was a Plan B because first option was closed unexpectedly. Both items I was going to order, they were out of. Appetizer? They were out. So I went with chickpeas, a chapati, and my companion had potatoes and rice. He got a teeny tiny potato ball, a little rice, and I got about 6 spoonfuls of chickpeas. We spent $50 for tasteless, WAY OVERPRICED, not what we wanted, food in a restaurant with urine covered bathrooms and no ice/cups for drinks. DO NOT GO HERE
Great restaurant! Visited the restaurant after reading reddit recommendations on their fried chicken. It definitely did not disappoint. The food was great, the chicken was on point. The bread for the sandwich was very fresh. You should definitely give it a try.
Chapati has some commendable dishes, especially the chaat and garlic naan, there's room for refinement in portions and balance of ingredients. Chaat that took center stage. This dish was a colorful tapestry of crispy puris, fluffy phulque, and an array of fresh ingredients like tomatoes, onions, cilantro, and chickpeas, all harmoniously blended with a distinct spice mix. The lavish drizzle of sweet yogurt was the only minor setback, perhaps a bit too generous for the dish. We tried Pakoras territory, a vegan treat that showcased crispy puffs of batter with sliced onions and cilantro, seasoned aptly with dry masala. We got tamarind chutney along with dish, missing the green chutney. In terms of both quantity and flavor, the pakoras undoubtedly delivered. The Malai Kofta comprising of spiced paneer balls fried to perfection and drenched in a luscious Indian masala sauce, its flavors genuinely did justice to its traditional roots and even outdid several competitors in Indy. However, the single kofta serving for a $17 price point was underwhelming, especially when paired with its overtly oily texture. Garlic Naan was exceptional good - not most hard short-bread, this naan with its soft, fluffy texture and the warmth of garlic spread that made it impossible to resist. Overall, Chapati met basic expectations and first time visit.
First time earing here the guy on the phone was great and helpful with pronunciations of the menu. I ordered the veggie rice biryani and Chana partha it was amazing and I asked for very spicy and it delivered. I have to give a huge shout out to the owner about his quality of service and he is very respectful.
Me and my colleague were craving for some Indian food and we found the perfect spot. We went to Chapati for dinner and was blown away by the service and the quality of food. The restaurant was clean, staffs were friendly, and there is a free parking lot in front. We ordered chicken biriyani, chicken tikka masala, and mango lassi. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend it.
