I ordered the #7 lunch special, the flavor was amazing. Kind of skimpy on the portions but all around had delicious flavors. It came w a egg drop soup which I didn’t care for it had like a burnt flavor to it and egg roll and two other things. I will go back to try different things!
Take out only, but boy their food will take YOU out. The crab angels are out of this world. The egg rolls were perfectly balanced with crunch and a fullfilling juicy interior. I got the Singapore Mai Fun... it's so full of flavor I ended up eating all of it and it's a large portion.
Best to go Chinese food delivered! I'm not able to go out due to mobility issues. I'm never disappointed with my orders. Freshly prepared, family owned and very popular. I love the yummy egg rolls, sweet n sour chicken, house fried rice, lettuce chicken wraps, etc., and their pricing is reasonable, a big plus for me!
Very disappointed. I had guests over on Sunday the 26th and had a nice big $60 order for takeout that we would have thoroughly enjoyed. Wanted to try the lettuce wraps, too. I called twice to place my order with no answer and no recording about the status of the restaurant. According to their website, they should have been open. I drove to their site only to find yet one more hand written sign taped to the door saying they were closed on the 26th and 27th. My guests and I were very upset and disappointed. We ended up taking our business to another Chinese restaurant elsewhere and I will have to think long and hard about ever giving Chang Lee's my future business. You need to update your website info if you're going to be closed and also leave a recoding on your phone with the same information. It's common courtesy.
Not sure what the great reviews are based on. We tried the "A" combo and were disappointed. Hot and sour soup had peas in it, that was a first for me. Flavor was OK but that was about it. Schzewan chicken was chicken wings in a sauce, I'm not a fan of soggy chicken skin so that was a pass. Chicken and vegetables were bland with little if any flavor. Sweet and sour pork did taste good. Fried wontons were crispy with something dark in the middle, not sure what it was. At that point I wasn't feeling adventurous so didn't try it. Fried rice seemed to be steamed rice with soy sauce poured on it. No veggies or anything else in it. When placing the order the server seemed like they would rather be anywhere else. Guess that is the norm now though.
Place is gives you a run down feel. Food was so bare with no flavor or felt like it was actually cooked. Would not eat again. Way better local spots. Pic shown is their " fried rice" it's rice with soy sauce. Nothing else lol
This is the best Chinese food I've ever had! I get the vegetable chow mein and the egg rolls every time. I get extra egg rolls so that I can reheat them later! They are to die for! The people who work there are always so friendly and are amazing and I never have to wait more than 20 minutes to get my food.
Not sure why 1 stars because what I had was very good. Order the won ton soup. It was a meal all by itself. Would I go back on my next visit? ABSOLUTELY!!!
