The thing that bothers me the most, is they do not listen to their customers. I am disabled and specifically asked for my braids not to be so small, because it will be tough for me to take them out by myself. My head is shaved so I only need the top braided. They put so many braids in my hair it looks like a full head of hair. They made them so small that when I tried to put it in a bun it was extremely heavy. I feel like if they were trying save on packs of hair, they should have told me to get my own hair. I am so unhappy. I have never been to a place where you ask for something specific and get the complete opposite. They already had a very low rating and I still went there , with the thought that it's only a few braids. I was wrong. Long story short I will not be returning.
This was my third time getting my hair done here. I got Senegalese twists done. Unfortunately you will have to be patient with the fact that they stop doing your hair to start someone else’s. However there was another women working on my hair as well and at one point there were three women working on my hair so they have their system that they are used to. Just an fyi for those who aren’t used to it. I have custom color in my hair, 2 different colors, so I found out what brand she likes to use and I brought one of each color that I needed and sent a pic before my appointment. She confirmed that she does have the color I would need so I told her I would not buy the rest of the hair since she supplies the color I need. I guess she didn’t communicate that with the women who would be doing my hair on the day of my appointment, it seemed to be some confusion when I showed the woman the packs of hair. But I was trying to be cooperative and help elevate any confusions. They speak in their mother tongue around you so that’s why I said I FELT there was some confusion because it wasn’t confirmed with me that there was a problem. Either way I remained patient and calm and I am happy with the END result.
She charge you 260 and above for braids that don’t even last my hair has been sliding out since I got it done in April and when I asked for another style she had the nerve to say 260 again she can go to hell and she ain’t even the one who touch it it’s others she will tell you 3-4 hours and when you get it don’t they telling you 6-8 hours which is bull she need new workers or just to stop taking clients because it’s ridiculous
0 Stars. Horrible experience. Appt was at 9:30 and I was serviced at 11:45. I was told 4 to 5 hours and I left the shop at 7pm. I’m assuming a newer braided braided my hair because the plaits in the back are medium and the front are small. The parts are parted diagonal and there are various sizes all over my head. For $250 it should have been near perfection. She offered for me to come back tonight to fix it but who wants to sit down after sitting 9 hours. She refused to give me a partial refund and asked for me to return at a later date but I told her that due to work and vacation it would be weeks before I return. I am extremely upset and appalled by the service I received today and almost embarrassed to wear this in public. A total waste of my time and money.
Asked for braids to be a certain size 4 times yet and did not get that also the door was locked when I arrived and there were 2 stylist doing each others hair. So of course my hair felt rushed because nothing I asked for was done. Kept having to get up to go dry my hair again in the middle of getting my braids because it wasn’t done thoroughly the first 3 attempts……As a male I’m not a fan of micro braids on me (made a comment about them being to small , they respond with “they last longer and kept it pushing) took my braids out the same day they were done , worst experience by far
Worst business ever!!!! Never coming back. My daughter's appointment was for 10:00am and the stylist was about 40 minutes late starting her hair. Then, she had the nerve to stop about four hours in and start two other girls heads. They are rude, unprofessional and they have poor customer service skills. Highly upset!!!
My braids were gorgeous, so in my experience they did really good work. And the first time I made an appointment, they were able to accommodate my last minute appointment, so I was ready to make this place my new braid place. But then I made an appointment two weeks in advance just to fix some braids before I had to go on a trip, and when I get there, the door is locked at first and then when they do open it, they ask me to come back around 2 pm. I made my appointment for 11 and I had to leave later that day. My work schedule is pretty hectic, so that morning was the only time I had, so I left with nothing. It was disappointing to make an appointment and for that to mean nothing. If they weren’t gonna have enough people that day to do my braids, I would’ve preferred to have been told so I could move the appointment in advance. And I tried to keep going there before my appointment so I could get an accurate pricing, but they’re never open on time. The shop was always closed in the morning and I just didn’t have the time to come back in the evening.
In summary, my braids looked great and every time someone complimented me, I told them where I got them, but my schedule is hectic and I can’t deal with a place that can’t keep commitments.
BEWARE...the only one that can braid is the owner...but she will put 3 of the random braiders she has on your head to finish fast and overcharge only for your hair to come loose the next day...when you let her know she will not make any effort to redo her workers shotty work and then block your phone calls...greed is a real...baby enjoy that $250 because you will loose way more in the long run !!!
