We were in town for meetings and a few of us got an Uber to Ybor and walked around. Some of us stopped to get a drink at the centro cantina. Nice breeze and atmosphere. From the second floor you can see some of ybor.
Love this place! Good strong drinks, amazing food, incredible people watching! One of our favorite spots to hang out for a few hours. The waitstaff is always so kind and helpful. We love it here!
We loved sitting up high above the courtyard enjoying our drinks and great lunch. Very friendly server. Live music was setting up as we were leaving. The quesadillas were good and we enjoyed the flavor of the barbacoa tacos.
I'm a very regular to this bar. It's great and friendly. I don't know who brandy is but she was not on it and very shaky. I never spent so much time at a bar and drank so little. Also how does a bartender at a tequila bar not know about milagro
they staff was so great here! I came in for the weekend the staff was very attentive. Chef Mel ensured everything was up to par with our food and drinks. The atmosphere was really good, the breeze blowing was the best feeling!
I’ve always enjoyed this place, but today was the worst experience I’ve ever had there. We spent some time there in the late afternoon getting food and drinks, left for 20 minutes, and returned to meet some other friends we invited there. The security guard was very nice and went to let us in as she knew we had already been there for a few hours. A random purple haired girl proceeded to throw up 3 fingers in our face and said we needed to pay a 3 dollar cover. Outside of how rude she was about it, there’s not a single bar in ybor and that charges a cover (outside of the night clubs for 18 year olds).
Will miss this place, but won’t be back.
Sat at the bar and had a frozen rum runner. Delicious.Bartender was very nice and provided great service. Make this a stop while in Ybor.
We were very disappointed. The restaurant looks very old amd dirty. We were the first customers for lunch: toilets dirty, no paper to dry hands, they were out of chips and chicken (how ironic at a mexican restaurant, just go over to the next store and get some next time). They got every single order wrong and the food was not good. Then they charged us two sides extra, which she then took off the receipt again when we asked about it, with no appology though. So, do NOT recommend... Sorry, even with a new owner, thats not accaptable
