My parents and I went here for lunch today. The food wasnt terrible. Id probably not eat here again as ive had better smoked foods in a lot of different places. The meat didnt have any flavor; it tasted like meat. There were pieces that tasted "smoked" but it was only on the outter part of the meat piece. I had the pulled pork sandwhich, and the gouda mac with brisket, and also the german potato salad (VERY overwhelming with the fennel seeds and pickled onions) it was not something anyone at our table could stomach. my mom had the patty melt (and said the same thing about the flavor) and my dad just ordered pork rinds. The only thing that tasted like it had flavor, was my daughters chicken tenders. But I'm pretty sure those came already cooked and just needed to be dipped in the fryer. The workers were very nice and accommodating. And the atmosphere was good too. Everyone seemed happy and it was clean.
This place never misses. Food is always right, fast and friendly service every time. Tons of drinks other than beer even though it’s a brewery. Such a cool spot and a nice hang out!
I stopped for lunch and it was a nice surprise. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious. It was almost too large to pick up! The house made chips are really good and are a great alternative to fries. I had one of their house brews as well, and it was really nice not to get overcharged. Several of their house brews are $5.75 a pint. At a lot of places that price won't even get you some generic yellow water beer! This Brew pub was a nice discovery. Definitely recommend.
I would give this six or seven out of five if I could. Beer was some of the best I’ve ever had in America. Food was awesome! They even had Radlers, which I would’ve ordered if I wasn’t driving! Price was decent too!
Great food and good beer, both in the German style. There were lots of little kids running around. That could be a positive or negative for some.
The food was great. The service was a bit odd. No one wiped off our table, we went to fetch our own drinks and order at the bar, and after someone brought our food, no one ever checked on us again.
We paid when we ordered and gave a 20% tip, not realizing that was definitely too much for simply dropping off our food.
Ive coem here a few times and have never had a negative experience. Every time the food was really good, an served in a timely manner, the waiting staff pilot and welcomeing. Also, the on tap beers are terrific! And absolutely love the authentic German atmosphere, food and beer. Will be back.
For first timers, we didn't care for the seat yourself casual setting. It was a busy Saturday night so that didn't help, they were packed! The food was delicious, beer cheese, jagershniztel were the favorites. They did sell out of the cheese curds, the special appetizer for the night. We would return again, but we would definitely bee line it for a seat and have one person order ????????????????????????
