My family and I find Mexican food to be one of the few foods we all agree on, but it's hard to find good restaurants. Dinner at Cazadores was absolutely delicious! We ordered the steak, chicken, and shrimp fajitas, and they hit the spot! The atmosphere is colorful and beautiful to look at. Josh, our server, was excellent, friendly, and very efficient. We will definitely be back!
Food had good flavor. I did order a chimichanga, but it wasn't deep fried. The chicken inside had a great flavor as did our tacos. Service was quick and friendly and the restaurant has a fun clean vibe.
We waited a few minutes to be seated. Only 2 waitresses were working. It took forever for our food. We ordered the molcajete to share and the steak was not seared but over cooked. The beans were so salty even mixed with the rice it was inedible. They picked up the 3 tables where people were sitting but never wiped them down. The bathrooms are dirty. Unfortunately, another waste of money. We won’t be going back.
Good food, excellent service, festive atmosphere even though we were having lunch late enough that we were the only ones there.
This was my first time to eat at Cazadores. I enjoyed the serving of tortilla chips and salsa. I liked the lingering heat from the salsa and the texture. This salsa was a blended salsa and not chunky. The salsa was brought to the table in a quart-sized pitcher. I had two full bowls of the salsa during the meal! The food was excellently flavored. The rice had a light smokey taste. The refried beans had a nice texture and moisture level. The chili sauce on the cheese enchiladas complimented the rest of the flavors on my plate. The server was attentive and pleasant. We had everything we needed. I enjoyed my meal. Next time I'm in Saginaw close to a meal time, you'll find me at Cazadores!
I have been back now to the restaurant about 10 times. I have nothing but the best Mexican meals. I have learned to appreciate the Cinco de Mayo enchilada meal! The meal is served with two beef and two shredded chicken enchiladas, as well as steamed rice. I love the flavors of both the beef and chicken enchiladas! Tonight, I added a pork tamale; wonderful flavor! I know I will sound like a pig, but I had 2 1/2 bowls of salsa/chips, one of the chicken enchiladas, half of the rice, the pork tamale, and three glasses of brewed ice tea! Having grow up around excellent Mexican food in the American Southwest, I will simply conclude that Cazadores authentic Mexican food "holds their own" against any quality Mexican restaurant in the country.
We tried the chicken fajitas tonight and they were wonderful. It was a great portion. They were flavorful. You cannot go wrong ordering the chicken fajitas!
Great authentic and tex-mex Mexican meals! I was very surprised and excited with the variety of menu options. The chips and salsa were fresh with great spicy flavor. I tried the burria tacos - the flavor, sauces, and presentation were amazing. A very large portion of 3 tacos with both rice and beans. We also had the 3 cheese enchiladas and an order of spicy grilled chicken with flour tortillas. Can't wait to try other menu options next time!
I was really excited after looking at the menu, had almost everything you could think of on it. From street tacos, tacos birrias, flautas, to Chile Colorado and Ceviche. However, sadly, the food did not impress me. 3 stars at best, and that was because the birria tacos were good. The rice had no flavor and was super dry. The enchilada lacked flavor as well. The ground beef in the chimichanga was sub-par, -worse than taco bell and flavorless. Super disappointing. On the other hand, our waitress was fantastic, chips and salsa (free with your meal) were excellent. The restaurant itself was clean and the decor was lovely. I'm not sure if I'll be back.
The waitresses were more interested in hiding in the back booth and staring at their phones then actually serving people. There are only two groups of people in the restaurant and it was still taking forever to get service and refills. The food was actually decent, I'm sure we'll come back for another try and hopefully the service is a little better.
