My wife and I stayed at the Sleep Inn and went to the Cave City Creamery for desert one night. The ice cream was exceptionally good. I had the buttered pecan and cashew and the summertime peach. Previous reviewer was obviously having a bad day. The little shop is a mom and daughter operation. I met them both and they were as courteous as could be to us. Sometimes you have to be polite and kind to get the best service. Not saying you were not buy give these guys a break. Service, price, and ice cream were all very good. PW
This place was so good! They had lots of ice cream options and they were so delicious! It was cheap too! 4 small cups and 1 coffee was less than $25. And the small cups were plenty of ice cream. They did not skimp.
It’s a cool shop in a quaint town. A real recipe for success. The ice cream was delicious. The coffee not so much. Unfortunately we stopped for the coffee. I finished mine but I did not like it.
The shop itself was nicely decorated and clean. The employees were super friendly. Everything was good except the coffee that was very sweet and tasted bad.
Went in 10 minutes before they closed on a Friday evening at 8pm to grab a quick cone. Around 2 minutes after we sat down the employee who served us told us they were closing the inside in 3 minutes and we "were welcome to sit outside" in the 40 degree evening wind. Imagine if all restaurants operated like that -_-
The ice cream itself was somewhat disappointing, the cookie dough extreme was a little hard for fresh ice cream and did not include very many chunks of cookie dough. For the price, you'd be better off just going to a supermarket and getting a pint of Ben and Jerry's for what they charge.
The strawberry cheesecake also wasn't anything special. I guess this is the top selection for the area, but the fact that this place has 4.9 stars is comical honestly.
Delicious ice cream and coffee! Atmosphere was cute and had a great staff. Perfect treat after we came from mammoth cave!
The place appears nice and the employees were friendly. I wasn't too impressed with the Chai Tea Latte during my visit and wished I would have tried something different. The ice cream looked good though.
We needed a coffee pick me up on our drive to FL and this stop was perfect! Easy on and off I65. We got an iced latte and an iced latte with oat milk. Both were excellent! They also have a drive through
Great stop for coffee! Looks like they had great ice cream flavors too. Plenty of indoor seating and outdoor options as well. Good coffee selection. Service was quick., And friendly with helpful recommendations. A definite must visit for the area.
