This place is genius!!! The gift that keeps on giving. It’s located on historic ground - Homestead. A steel mill along the Monongahela River where you can still watch quintessential barges sail upon it.
The layout is quaint and efficient since you can cut across in various spots so you can get to all of it conveniently.
Compelling eclectic entertainment, shopping and dining combined with the kind welcoming Pittsburgh folk. What’s not to love?!
The Waterfront is such a unique place to visit. The waterfront is not far from Pittsburgh and is a great place to shop, dine, or walk around on the trail they have nearby. It is normally a busy place because there are so many businesses in one place. That is also what makes the waterfront so unique is all the shops nearby. There are a ton of different places to go shopping. There are also a ton of places to dine if you get hungry. There is a huge movie theater here also a trampoline park and other entertainment places. There is a comedy club and also dave and busters which is a huge entertainment place for adults and kids. The waterfront also hold a lot of history. There was a battle fought a mile down the road and also a spot for an ancient marking. It's all really neatnto check out!
So fun in the day and so beautiful at night!
If the family wants to spend a day shopping and eating or the boys want to go hitting sports bars while the girls shop this is the place. Kinda of a Shangrila for the whole family actually: with a state of the art Movie theatre tucked in the middle. If you’ve only got a few days in the Pittsburgh area, the Waterfont should be at the top of your list!
This shopping area has SO many places to shop aside from Costco, Target, Dickson & so many places to eat, but my absolute favorite is Eat & Park!
If you haven't ever been, I highly recommend putting it on your list of places to go eat! Food is like home cooked with such reasonable prices & the wait staff are the friendliest you will ever meet! It's a fantastic place to head for some shopping & hanging out
Absolutely beautiful place in so many ways.
But keep your eyes open on the roads cause they freaking suck all around there hahaha.
Then again this is Western Pennsyl'tucky we're talking about ????????
God bless and be safe y'all!!!
????????
You would find me at one of a few places. Lowe's store or Target or the Giant eagles and occasionally the Amazon drop off boxes. Well Giant eagles is one of the places I'm at. They have a nice selection of pre-made food, dinners and reasonable prices. They're meat selection is usually extraordinary I went a shot there like to get in there before the crowd gets in there
A lot of expensive places to waste money and time. Need a shuttle just to get from 1 side to the other side. Bus stops are a joke. Be careful. Drivers don't care if you're crossing. Not enough walkable spaces. Busses take a long time. And they will pass you up. Everything closes after 930pm. It's too dark trying to walk through the parking lots. So I haven't shipped over there. It's all closed once I get off work.
The park within the retail stores was beautifully decorated for Christmas.
