Best WLM Reviews
Excellent food, great cocktail menu. Wonderful service.
Really enjoyed a chorizo and beef burrito with habanero salsa. Great, fresh ingredients, locally sourced.
The good is the food and service. Almost always the service is top tier. The food is almost always perfectly prepared. The bad relates to changes over time. Like most Mexican restaurants, Casa used to provide salsa and chips to start, giving customers something to munch while waiting. Nothing provided anymore. A salsa serving is about an ounce and over a $1; whereas, most provide 2-4 oz free. Your meal comes with 1 oz...for a burrito and larger meal this is far too little. Requested a veggie (e.g., fresh mushrooms) as part of the filling. Would not provide even though they had them for items on the seasonal menu. The original owner as restaurant was all about the cuisine and customer. About 10-15 years ago things changed to a more accounting focus where everything was charged, portions controlled. Understandable. However, salsa and other item portions are often very small in comparison. For many years every trip to Athens included stopping by and hosting friends. In the past 5 years, I'll stop and bring friends when convenient or desired. No longer the go to place.
The food is excellent and prepared in a timely manner. This is a non tipping restaurant with that being said the staff went over and beyond to ensure a positive experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
A great place but know what you're getting into. Service is much slower than most places, so relax and have a drink, and talk to your friends. When the food gets there it's worth it.
Drinks & cocktails are on point at this place.
Weekends get live music and dj dance nights. Always a good time and good people.
Nice place, good people and service. The food is peculiar but good. If you are in the mood for some Mexican food don’t get your hopes up, it’s very white washed Mexican. Don’t get me wrong the food was good but not at all what I was expecting going into a Mexican restaurant. I got the full burrito instead of the half burrito thinking it would be on the bigger side, is was a medium sized burrito for $20. The meat was unseasoned but good with all of the other contents of the burrito. The ice cream is very very good, homemade.
This place is a Very fancy kind of Mexican food restaurant, you should try it out. I’d go back.
This is an interesting place definitely worth checking out if you're not from the area. The service is on the slow side, but if you're not in a rush it's a good place to sit down and enjoy. The food has delicious and unique Mexican and vegetarian options. However, the prices do seem a bit high for what you get
Fantastic food and a cool vibe atmosphere! I think all of their food is locally sourced! Fresh and delicious! They use our corn chips made from our organic corn grown on our farm here in Ohio. It's a little pricey but worth every penny!
There's the restaurant part and a artsy bar part, they are separated rooms so it's kid friendly! Don't miss one of their local beers or mixed drinks! A true treat!
