Ordered thru Uber Eats. They took advantage.
This is what you get of Ropa Vieja $28 from Uber Eats.
Picked up 2 dinners on Mother's Day at round 4 pm. We live in Virginia but come here about 2 times per month when visiting. Has always been wonderful up until now. Were out of fried pork chunks so opted for shredded pork, black beans, white rice and plantains. Only good things to say are white rice and plantains were good, the shredded pork was very dry and the black beans were not edible way too salty. Will stay away for a while.
Received my order through Uber eats. No utensils provided no dressing for my rotten salad and black beans were more liquid than actual beans. Rice was about 2 tablespoons worth. It’s not even about the money. The quality and food safety is more of a concern for me. First and last time I order from here.
Good place if you wanna have some Atole it reminds me the one back home. Food is ok, too salty for my taste, has a good variety too, big portions, one meal can easily feed 2 people, price is good. Customer service is not so good inside. But outside on the Grill area very friendly staff and you have a different, healthier option. Just tell the chef not too add just a bit of salt and low on the oil. I had grilled veggies and grilled chicken and it was great also big portion can easily share, the price was good too. I will go back but to eat outside on the Grill area.
Is my first and last time coming in this place unfortunately they have a horrible customer service! Second their tap to pay never works me as a costumer I need to feel secure when I am using my card. Last thing the young blonde lady with color eyes she was a sweetheart she took care of me very good after having a lil argue with another employee. Such of a low class place!
In the grill fresh food (meat and vegetables) cooked in front of your eyes. inside all the usual Cuban items cooked very nice considering that is cooked in mass. I highly recommend it. It's a non frill place.
The best cuban tamal in Miami. They have other food options. Serving size was plenty enough to share for family of 3.
My food was great. Received good service. One of the few places I consider the tamal to be close to authentic. Place has not cut corners yet!
