Super delicious meal, very friendly staff. I would definitely eat here again. My Paloma was a little on the sweet side for me, that's my only complaint. The meal was served in an amazing Mojacete, stayed hot for an hour while we slowly enjoyed our feast.
We are not from the area, we came out to do a bit a shopping and made a stop to eat! We are glad to have made the stop here the food was very delicious! Even though they didn’t have a drink menu just yet, they took the initiative to make us a few drinks and those were tasty too! The service was impeccable and they were very quick with all our items! Highly recommend to make the trip to eat here!!
I went there for the first time last week. It was a great experience. Everything you want from a higher end Mexican restaurant. The tacos were so delicious I wish there was more???? We also ordered cocktails and the staff are very kind to ur personal preferences. And of course the dessert is so worth it.
OK, we love to find hidden gems that are starting up. Casa Agave is just that! What friendly brother owners, great service, and very well prepared dishes. Had the Enchiladas Casa Agave and they are glorious with the cream. As in the photo, the Cadillac margarita Hector made was beyond. Highly recommended!
10 out of 10 for food and service! Fantastic new place! If you're looking for some authentic, Mexican food and the flavors that go with it, then you need to come here! For real! Another important detail, is that everything is made to order, fresh. There is even a sign posted , saying as much. (Pic below)
My mom has been wanting us to check this place out since it opened. We finally went, yesterday and we are so happy we did.
We are most always, with my grandmother who has limited mobility, so it can be a challenge at times with parking (depending where we are and hoping for a close spot). Thankfully we found a close enough spot.
It was about 2pm so we anticipated that it would be quiet, since it was after the lunch rush, and we were right. We were offered a table close to the door, which i appreciate because I know people are trying to accommodate my grandmother, however she doesn't like to sit by the door because she's always cold.
This place is completely new and very clean. The decor is vibrant and they have fresh flowers on all the tables, which is nice touch.
Once we were seated and looking at the lunch menus, our server Roxanna, offered the full menu to us. She explained later that the lunch menu is utilized for the working lunch crowd, to make it easier for everyone... Makes sense to me, because the full menu has much more to it. (Photos below)
They serve, fresh chips and salsa at the table, and we ordered a Michelada to share. I got the Chile Verde Burrito, my grandma got the two item combo with Chile Relleno and cheese enchilada, and Mom got the "Tampiquena" plate. (Skirt steak with a cheese enchilada).
The Michelada, Roxanna made, looked like a centerpiece, it was so beautiful, with cucumber, celery and a whole shrimp on the rim with Chamoy and Tajin!
We all enjoyed our food so much. Lots of flavor. The Chile Verde is SOO good!
The beans and rice on the other plates were both very good as well. When I say authentic flavor, I mean it. We all share bites of food, because we like to try everything we can.
My grandma enjoyed her food and my mom as well. The only thing about my moms plate, "for the price", she said she wished she got more of the skirt steak and would've done without the enchilada, if that could've been an option.
I almost forgot..we ordered, Tacos Del Mar, off the lunch menu for our neighbor, Togo. Its one fish, one shrimp and one octopus taco, but you can choose whatever combo of the three, you want. He told us the tacos were very good.
We look forward to coming back, and even happier that it's a great new place, in town, and close by.
Before we left, I spoke to Luis, the owner, who was so nice.
Thank you so much. We will be back!
Everything here was immaculate. Great service , food was delicious and came out very fast. Enjoyed every bit of my experience here definitely will come back.
Ate there twice on my 4 day visit to the area. Their food was fantastic and their servers were great. They have really good street tacos. Even though their pastor didn't look like it was the more traditional stuff that is shaved off a spit, it was still really good. Their barbacoa was also delicious. Good drink menu too. Had a michelada and it was really, really good. Especially with the mexican candy straw.
Aris (the most amazing server) and this restaurant is SO amazing! I live 2 hours away and come to this place just for the big lava bowl bc it is SO good! I never would have ordered it in the first place if not for Aris but in her infinite wisdom she recommended it and i practically licked the bowl it was SO good! I almost didnt want to review bc I won’t want to get too busy and I have to fight for table but literally it is so good I cannot gatekeep!
