Never met a more honest mechanic than Chris. Started bringing my cars to him 2 years ago for a simple ac issue and will never go anywhere else. He’s always gotten the best prices or gives honest advice for some of the more serious car problems I’ve brought him.
10/10 for car service and customer care
I came to Chris because the previous mechanic I was going to was not treating me right and prices were extremely high for breaks they already replaced a year ago. Chris was honest and gave me a fair price. I then broke down and Chris was able to get my car back to his shop and replace the alternator same day. Our family will be going back to him from now on.
Family owned and operated. Chris and his wife are extremely professional. Kept me informed, saved me thousands in comparison to the dealer, and most importantly did an amazing job repairing my Maserati Ghibli’s fuel system. He cleaned my valves, replaced both fuel rails, 6 injectors, intake gasket, throttle body gasket and even did an oil change. Once Chris started the work it was complete in two days(including ordering parts)! I highly recommend this place.
This is the only person I get to work on my vehicle now ... here’s why .. I have a 07 Cadillac CTS .. I took it to multiple Mechanics before meeting Chris & they all said things wrong with my car that cost a lot of money that wasn’t even the issue with my car .. Then I met Chris & he FINALLY Diagnosed my car the right way . It didn’t matter if it was a $5 or $500 part . He was honest !! . Chris knows his stuff that’s for sure ! Even before seeing my car he could just about tell me already what it sounded to be like . He gave me a great price on towing my vehicle to the garage , great price on the parts I needed , great price on doing the work & had it done in no time .. he’s not just someone doing their job . He’s someone who actually cares about your safety! .. so now every issue I have now or anyone around me who has car issues I always recommend Chris Carswell with Carswell Automotive.
Pictures are from my accident.. the last pictures at night time is my car now . Chris and my hubby worked a miracle on it !
Chris is the man!! The only guy I would let touch my near classic BMW 7 series. He has all of the high-tech equipment to properly diagnose your vehicle. Plus, he really knows his stuff and is very thorough. Prices are very reasonable. Call Chris first, you won't be disappointed.
I would highly recommend Chris for whatever service your vehicle may need. We used his services for our 2001 Mazda Protege MP3. He did a complete engine swap, inspection, A/C diagnostics and repair work, starter troubleshooting and more. His prices were fair and very reasonable. His work was quick. He did the diagnostics, parts ordering and shipping, and complete engine swap by himself in just over a week. (Your results may vary but ours were excellent) Since having the vehicle back, it drives and runs great. Originally I went in because of rod knocking and starter issues. Every problem and then some has been fixed since. Can’t speak highly enough of him. He helped bring our old girl back to life quickly, and at a price I was happy to live with. Thanks Chris!
Carswell Automotive do my timing belt, water pump, and shocks/struts all the way around on my Camry. He was thousands cheaper than what I had been quoted at other shops. Very professional, very friendly, very reasonable! 10/10 recommend!
I highly recommend Chris. He was able to work on our car, order a part and have it finished at the last minute in time for our son to drive it to college. He communicated everything beforehand and explained thoroughly what and why everything was done. Great experience.
