Carolina Roadhouse is an American restaurant that specializes in seafood, steak, and ribs. They are located off of N Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach.
This was my last meal before heading back to Pennsylvania, so I'm glad it was a good one. The food and service were both great.
For an appetizer I ordered the Chicken Wings. Their featured flavor was sweet chili and it was delicious! The wings were cooked and sauced perfectly.
For my entree I decided to go with their famous ribs. I'm not a huge fan of charred meat, but the ribs did come clean off the bone.
Service was good from start to finish. We were promptly seated, and our server Andy was awesome. He was friendly, well-mannered, and made sure my family and I had an enjoyable experience.

This is our go to place for dinner or lunch. We have never had a bad meal here. The seafood is great. Parking is free and plentiful. Cocktails are good, and the staff is polite. I wish they would take a little more care with how the food is plated. It tastes good, but the kitchen is not concerned with presentation. We tried the key lime pie and were disappointed. It tasted like sugar and not key lime. This was the first and last time we get dessert there.
It was really packed when we first got there but it's a big place and we got seated fast and ordered quickly. Our salad came out fast and was served with a honey Crescent. Absolutely delicious. I ordered a Ribeye steak with a baked potato, my husband ordered baby back ribs with a loaded baked potato. He had water I had a draft beer. (Our bill is in the photos) Our waiter was very nice as was a few others that came to our table. We were there till closing. A great atmosphere and we had no complaints on our food. There is also a bar in the middle of the restaurant. After you eat, if you ask you server for a hand towel they will bring you a rolled up hot towel to wipe your hands and face off. We will be back for sure.
Oh my my my I have just found my new happy in my belly place in Myrtle Beach!!!! The restaurant is completely amazing in every way from the building, the smiles you are greeted with, to the food!!! The absolutely best steak I've had from any restaurant anywhere in years possibly ever!!! That's saying another cause I eat steaks at least once a week. The baked potato was even in the top 2 of the best ever! How do you make that stand out I'm not sure but they did. Our server was Paige and she gave us great recommendations and keep up with the drinks and had a great attitude!!!! I will definitely be back!
Server Conner was great. Salad with hot bacon and honey mustard dressing delicious. Croissants yummy. Shaved prime rib sandwich and backed potato good. Chicken tenders and fries were awesome. left full and happy.
Came here for the first time tonight and it was excellent. Our server, James was very attentive and we did not have to wait more than like 15 minutes for our food to come. Frozen strawberry margarita was perfect along with the house salad and croissant. Steak and seafood was cooked perfectly and portions were just enough.
I was really looking forward to trying this place, because they had such great reviews. When we arrived, the Restaurant was nice and clean & the Food had a nice presentation but was way too salty; all of it actually. So much sodium My child couldn't even eat his meal because it had too much. My husband ordered a loaded hot dog (maybe called the Killer Dog)(I'm an out of state visitor so not familiar) with chili and fries and the hot dog was burnt to a crisp. Server forgot to put our appetizer in so it came out right before the food. He was nice though. Would not recommend based solely on the super salty food and the hotdog. I love well seasoned food but how about utilizing other seasonings more and cutting out some of the salt. Sorely disappointed.
Carolina Roadhouse is conveniently located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and was open for Thanksgiving. We ate Thanksgiving lunch here. The food was okay. The dessert was not good at all. We all chose the pecan pie and the quality was very poor. When our server delivered the cornbread he forgot to bring out the butter. He finally brought it out about five minutes later. After we already ate the cornbread. Too little too late. We felt rushed. When we made our reservation, we were told that we had one hour. But our server attempted to take our plates while we were still eating and we still had 25 minutes left. We will not be returning to this restaurant. We do not recommend this restaurant.
