I had the carnitas and cueritos (skins) on homemade corn tortillas with cilantro and onions. They were AMAZING! Beans and rice were good too but I wanted tacos!! Friendly staff and great prices. They served me fried chicharrones instead of chips and salsa which was fantastic. I have found the hidden gem of Hammond!
I have been to this place three times already and it never disappoints me. The carnitas are so delicious. Their homemade tortillas are perfect, & everyone is so friendly when you enter. I will always recommend this place to anyone who is interested in trying some good carnitas.
The Carnitas are very good a lot of flavor and fresh they give you the options of regular tortillas or hand made tortillas. The place is very clean and they have great customer service. They have everyone in Northwest Indiana beat for carnitas. I recommend them 110%
Carnitas mmm I’ll give them a 4.5. My husband ordered a green chicharrón gordita I don’t know if it was the salsa on it or the chicharrón but it had an awful taste!
Dynamite Carnitas. Used to go to Pilsen in Chicago on the regular and have been all over Chicagoland besides for Carnitas, this is among the very best. What a find!
Great carnitas and Barbacoa. The owners are the same family that own Michiocana carnitas in Chicago. It was a little expensive to me but food tasted good. Great place to get carnitas if they don't run out of them.
The food here was terrible. I got Carnitas and Pastor tacos, the meat was so dry. The rice was barely edible and the frijoles were watery and too salty. I waited over 20 minutes for my food and they got no utensils. I will not return.
We've been there twice already and food is always on point. You can never beat great carnitas with freshly made tortillas. The carnitas are very flavorful without being greasy! Recommended 100%
I can tell the horchata is made without pre made mixes.
