Ordered the legume meal through Doordash for pick up. The lady that handed me the food was nice. Got home, ate three spoon full and found a black bug in the food. Looked like a fly. Extremely dangerous, as they are known to cause stomach issues. Im very disgusted, not sure whether I ate a bug prior to finding that one. In addition, the food tasted very sour as if it was leftover from the day before. Very disappointing.
The Caribbean Zone is very respectful and welcoming towards all of their customers. They serve a wide variety of specials like conch, salmon, Oxtail, Pumpkin soup (Soup Joumou), Cake and more!!! They also have several ways to order including catering, delivery ( Doordash, Grubhub, Postmates and Uber Eats) and Phone orders! The food is delicious and everything is reasonably priced (Cheap).
Food was delicious and fresh. It was extremely well portioned for the price. The carribean taste was definitely there just like from home.
Do NOT eat there. Place looks like from the horror movie, so imagine the kitchen ..... still I give a try, becouse of other good reviews. Sure enough food makes me sick. ( griot and turkey plates). I vomit every thing out , smell from the turkey sauce was off, all food very oily and had this " specific" smell ... and overfried, dry banan. I don't even want to know at this point where this food is coming from and how it was prepared where customers can't see. I will never order from them again. They need to be inspected by the Health Department. Good luck !
The portions for ONLY $10 doesn’t get any better than this . Best Haitian food in Miami that I know .
Every experience at Carribbean Zone has been amazing just like the food! I strongly recommend the griot (it’s my favorite) and their pikliz is really good! The staff is nice and have good customer service. Try them for authentic carribbean food you will not be disappointed!
Our family visited with a couple of friends. We tried many items on the menu (fried pork, curry chicken, shrimp, legume). All were delicious, and the servings were large. My wife and I both thought their fried plantains (basically tostones, although I realize that's probably not the correct local name) were the best we've ever had. Plus, the owner was also extremely nice and welcoming. Wish I had pictures, but I forgot to take any. The place is small and simple but worth a visit.
The food and service by the manager was disgusting. I was joined by some foreigners and an out of towner from Texas and I must say that I was so embarrassed. The bathroom was disgusting. The meat was spoiled and when we addressed the issue the owner was more angry than we. The disrespect for their paying customers is evident.
