If you are on the southside of St. Louis, you should check this restaurant out. I ordered Jerk Chicken, Rice and Peas meal. The service was excellent. The young woman assisting me was very kind and pleasant. The food smelled so good, and the rice was phenomenal. The chicken was good even better with the jerk sauce and the cabbage finger licking good. I just wish I didn't have as many bones in the chicken, but besides that, the food was great for sure. I'm definitely coming back next time I'm in St. Louis.
Upon my inaugural visit to the Caribbean Delight establishment nestled in the vibrant yet challenging environs of Saint Louis's south side, I embarked upon a culinary journey that one might say was as audacious as it was delectable. The moment my palate encountered their rendition of jerk chicken, a symphony of flavors enveloped my senses with a crescendo of smoky warmth, punctuated by a harmonious blend of spices that danced upon my tongue.
The succulent meat (mind the bones), painstakingly imbued with the essence of allspice, scotch bonnet peppers, and thyme, transported me to the sun-soaked shores of the islands.
Though the geographical context added a certain frisson to the experience, the culinary prowess of Caribbean Delight proved triumphant, transcending the locale and bestowing upon my discerning palate a remarkable gustatory voyage.

It’s something about this place I be feeling at home ????✨ but jerk chicken sauce is ????????????????food is 10/10 I got jerk chicken and curry chicken, I’ve had beef patties and ox tails too but they didn’t make it to the camera last time .
I had a horrible experience with this restaurant, and I never want to go back. 1st of all when I arrived to the restaurant the menu on there window and front door has different prices then they charged me for and refused to honor it. 2nd of all when I got there they said my order wasn’t even ready and I called it in 35 minutes before I got there. 3rd of all the food was terrible and sloppy, I can’t believe they gave me this over salty oxtails, it was disgusting and the worst I ever tasted, I asked for a refund and they refused to give back my money and I didn’t eat it. They seem suspicious like all these Asian restaurants who don’t accept card payments.
Bad decision ????. I have been to this restaurant several times. I usually get the oxtail or jerk chicken. The last time i came the jerk chicken did not taste the same so I stopped buying it. I got the oxtails this time. I got home and opened my food and started to eat it. I tasted something burnt so I looked at the oxtail. They were burnt on the outside and they usually are cooked real tender, but not this time. I rubbed some of the sauce off and you could see that they were old and not freshly cooked. I tasted the rice that comes with it and it tasted like regular rice, not the Jamaican style rice I usually get with my order. I then tasted the cabbage and immediately spit it out, it tasted horrible! I was like, this can't be cooked by the same people that I ordered the same food from before! No way! Needless to say I was and still am soooooooo disappointed about my food! Will not go back after that. I had called in my order and still had to wait a while before I received it.
This is a very small restaurant. If you blink you will miss it. I suggest you don't blink cause the food is amazing and works well for my budget. I ordered food for roughly 20 people. It was a huge order and they went out of there way to accommodate me. Needless to say everyone enjoyed the food. The only complaint i heard was that I did Not order enough cabbage LOL. So next time double cabbage. FYI Prices have gone up on all items especially the Ox tails since my original post. Be prepared to wait as well. My order was said to take 25 min for just jerk chicken @ 45 min at was still there. So just a heads up.
The area is a little sketchy but thats usually where the good spots are, and it reigns true. I ordered the curry chicken with rice and peas with a side of jerk chicken. The rice didnt have many beans but thats jist how i like it. The lady got a little snappy with me because I didn't understand what she was saying but she apologized and this food was so delicious I wouldn't even cared if she didn't!!!! Will be returning everytime I visit Stl.

Decent grub, very high in salt content. Thankfully the rice-n-peas were a good balance to help calm the salt. I would have loved to have some plantains and festival bread to complete my ackee meal. Prices are fair.
