Eventhough I know they were kinda busy during lunch, I still waited in line without cashier even up front. That was the only part of the experience that was negative. I gotta say that the food is amazing and I really appreciate the care and love put into it. I'm posting a picture of the lake right from an up close view outside.
To-go trays were nice and spacious. So all in all Im still rating it a 5.
2nd edit: Visited again today 8/28/23 and it was a pleasure. We had this beef stew and white rice. The okra was okay bit all in all great!
Great location along the lakeside with a beautiful spot for the sunset. The pulled pork dinner was delicious. Staff were extremely supportive and friendly. Thank you.
Drove out of our way to go to this place. Apparently you’re not able to go there unless you can get on the base. Doesn’t say that anywhere though. Don’t go here if you’re a civilian. Just as a heads up.
Awesome gem on Camp Blanding! Just when my co-worker and I thought we'd be eating canned foods for our stay here we got word if this restaurant. Great food and beautiful views. Down home comfort.
Only have had breakfast here. Never had anything not worth ordering again or to go.

Atmosphere- open cafeteria type. Usually plenty of room. This place is busy for breakfast and lunch for good reason. Location and quality of food and service are a definite plus.
Cafeteria food at its finest. Lovely staff and nice digs by the lake but you can only dress up frozen and reheated entrees so much. Wish there were more fresh and healthy options when you're stationed at Blanding for any length of time. Salad bar is the highlight.
Great view over the lake. Food is ok, staff not super friendly. Prices are a bit high for the quality of food. Gut truck is super convenient if exorbitant
The waitress forced me to leave a tip and proceeded to have and attitude with me after when I wasn't looking selected the most expensive option for a tip
