Super
I actually liked working out int the Camp Algier Gym. It was small but had almost everything you needed for a good workout. A huge positive (which some might see as a negative) was the fact they did not have air conditioning which enabled me to sweat more. However I wish they had more cardio equipment and often times it got way to packed.
The gym space isnt bad. There are a lot of machines, a couple treadmills, and enough free weights and squat racks for a few units. Definitely too small for the number of people they've squeezed onto camp Aachen, as you'll often find a wait after dinner, around lunch, and around PT time. Hours are wonky; for some reason they're closed from 8-11am and 1-3/4am every day to clean. It wouldn't take more than an hour, hour and a half to clean that gym with 1-2 people. Maybe it's just a 3ID ism, but it's super inconvenient if you're trying to get in a quick lift after the PT crowd clears out because you're on a different schedule than others.
This gym, as of the time of this writing, has an unusual deep cleaning hour: 1700-1800.. Why? Coupled with the fact that they don't open until 1300 makes the choice for this time even more baffling.
Why on earth would they close the gym at a time when a majority of soldiers would be getting off work?
Otherwise, great facility with great variety of workout equipment.
Always clean...always the newest equipment.
Все добре, враховуючи що він один в таких розмірах
A lot of the equipment is broken. They do not maintain it at all.
