Best WLM Reviews

I recently attempted to visit Cambia Auto Repair based on a friend's recommendation. However, my experience was less than satisfactory. Despite arriving before 11 am, the shop was closed, and my attempts to contact them through their phone number proved futile.
Despite waiting and calling for an extended period, I received no response, and there was no option to leave a voicemail.
Fortunately, I hadn't initiated any business with them, and I've decided not to pursue any future transactions with Cambia Auto Repair. The lack of communication and unavailability during business hours left me questioning the reliability of their services.
This review is specifically focused on the state inspection service provided by this auto store. My experience with them was unique in that they don't offer appointments, instead opting for a first-come, first-serve approach every morning. This flexibility can be a real lifesaver when you're in a hurry or can't secure an appointment elsewhere. However, be prepared for potentially long wait times if you decide not to drop off your vehicle. Overall, it's a convenient option for those in a hurry but may require some patience if you choose to wait. Also, they charge $20 per inspection.
I personally have not had any problems with anyone there. Freddy put an engine & transmission in my husband's car at a reasonable cost to the shop. Sara is awesome! They're all down to earth folks & don't overcharge. I'll continue to go to them.
So today my daughter, who's 23, and I went to get our cars inspected at Cambria Auto Repair. We arrived at 8 but they didn't open until 8:30, so we waited. There was one lady ahead of us when they did open so we knew it was going to be a minute, no big deal. 9:30 rolls around and they had just pulled the first woman's car in, when out of no where, we hear some guy yelling behind us. We were looking around, trying to figure out who he was yelling at because he was talking about someone needing to move their car. Next thing we know, he's at my daughter's window yelling and cursing at her to move her car, saying he worked there, that the area where we were parked needed to be open. She told him we had been there for an hour and a half and no one had said anything. He then got louder and meaner, cursing her. He then turned to me and told me I needed to move as well. I guess we weren't moving fast enough because we were both kinda stunned by his behavior and he just kept ranting and raving. My daughter moved her car, went inside and told them she was no longer needing their services because well duh. I went in to try and diffuse the situation and the employee, and I use that term loosely, had already made his way in and was telling the boss and other employees what had happened. He sees me and again starts to yell and curse. Needless to say, they weren't getting my business either but because his BOSS sat and watched all of this and did nothing to stop it, absolutely nothing, I decided to call the police. Now I knew they couldn't do anything but I wanted this guy to know his behavior wasn't ok... AT ALL.
Great service from friendly people. In a world where the friendly neighborhood mechanic is becoming less prevalent, it's nice to find a place you can trust will get the work done without charging you an arm and a leg.
I had such a wonderful experience with Cambria Auto Repair. I took my car here for a state inspection. I initially took it to Thompson's in Christiansburg and they told me I needed $700 in repairs before it would pass for inspection. I was very suspicious of what Thompson told me so I got a second opinion from Cambria Auto. During this inspection, my car passed with no issues needing to be addressed at this time. Cambria Auto is an honest garage. I couldn't recommend them more highly. Take your business here and you won't be disappointed!!
Took my car here for an inspection. I had a hole in a bumper light. They had me get my own part (even told me where to check for a used part), so I got the part for half the dealer's price. They put the part in for me at a very affordable price and passed me for an inspection.
A couple weeks later, after getting a tire sensor replaced at a different shop, I needed to know the reason 3 new lights came on right after the replacement. They immediately used their machine to diagnose my car and found out that this is a common issue with hybrids. The could not recalibrate my car, but told me about a trustworthy place to go to have it done. They didn't charge me for diagnosing my car.
Highly recommend and super thankful for their help and service!
I needed inspection and oil change in my company truck and they were able to take me in when I called and get me out in an hour and a half. Everyone else wanted to keep it all day. It's a rustic little shop and a cast of characters, but don't let that deter. They're nice people and the overall service was great.
