We've been here a few times but somehow my earlier review is missing. The bacon burgers are pretty good. They use green leaf lettuce which gives them a nice texture versus iceberg, with red onion and some nice tomatoes. The onion rings are super crunchy like they are battered with cornmeal which makes them far too chewy. The fries are like most of the classic burger stands, which means they are pretty darn good.
The service was still just passable, but not welcoming. The prices are way up there though. Scroll through the "Menu" photos and you can see the price jumps about $5 on the "California Best" from $12.99 to about $17.99 in under 5 years.
California Burger is my go to place when I’m craving a great burger. You’d be blown away at the size of the menu and it all looks yummy. I was today years old when I learned of pastrami fries!
I got the gyro, my fiancee got carne asada fries, and my son got the chicken tenders kids meal. Everything was great, we were all pleased and it's all exceptional chicken tender. We're always a fan of the Coca-Cola freestyle machine.
A very nicely laid out restaurant. I had the Philly and my ex-wife had the teriyaki chicken sandwich. Both sandwiches were exceptional. With great flavor and I was delighted by the great fries. We absolutely recommend this restaurant ????
I ha e always loved this place. Food is always good, portions are perfect and burgers are amazing. Ranch dressing is delicious also.????
The food was super good. The prices were expensive and the staff wasn't super friendly but the food was soooooo good. I am unsure if I will be back but they do have montecristo sandwiches.
This place exceeded my expectations. The reviews for this place are criminally low. In my opinion, this is a pretty great burger.
The only mark against it is that the place is not the cleanest place. Other than that, I highly recommend this place.
Absolutely awful food and service. The food upset my family’s stomachs. It was $80 for two tacos, two burgers, one fry and one onion ring? You’ve got to be kidding me! Way over priced and she didn’t even attempt to explain everything was separate or one taco was $10 lol. We will never go back or recommend it.
