If I could give 0 stars I would. First they never answer the phone. They had my car from august to damn near March and nothing has been done even after I have paid them. I went in person and the mechanic acted as if he had no idea my car was even there. I was told to fix my car would be one price then he told me something else was wrong and never called me back, never answered, the owner was never there when I stopped by. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
Went to several shops before being referred to Cal. They diagnosed the problem and repaired it. I felt the price was fair for the service they provided.
Make sure these people tell you the truth. Just left and all he did was order from Advance Auto parts. Then when asked why he could not rebuild and it cost so much he told me it would have costed more to rebuild. So he charged an additional $50 to order. Wasted a full day. They should have just told me it would be easier and faster to get it from an auto parts. Paid the guy but he knew he was wrong. Man has about 30 cars there and none were fixed. Becareful i do not recommend him.
Would not recommend to anyone. Think this place should be sued actually. Took it in for one problem and was advised on what work to get done. Basically Robert chose to fix what he could fix, while I nowing he was not fixing or could not fix the actual problem with the vehicle. Charged me 1700 and didn’t even fix the real problem on the vehicle . And after describing what happened to various other people they all confirmed that they have or know someone who’s been here that had similar terrible experiences. Close the shop.
Good work, price was reasonable fair, and I asked for a rush job and he was quick about it. What I liked the most is that they were very respectful and pleasant. I recommend Cals Auto Electric to anyone. Great Service!!!
We thought we had exhausted our options to trouble shoot and repair an electrical problem on an Acura RSX one of our son's drives. Our normal mechanic could not solve it, the dealership said to sell it because they could not pin point the issue, and said it would be up to $4000 to POSSIBLY resolve. We took the car to Robert Castillo at Cal Auto and it was solved in three days with a one year guarantee.....and at a very reasonable price. I am completely pleased with Robert and his staff's work ethic. Highly recommend these folks for electrical troubleshooting and resolution.
GO ELSEWHERE!!! He charged me $100.00 to exchange two auto headlights that I supplied and treated me like I was stupid!!
These guys don't have a clue of what they are doing.
Not the shop that they use to be 3 years ago. Took my car to replace the air ride motor and they left me with 4 lights on my dash, that i never had, on top of keeping my car for a whole month. Had take my car to another ELECTRIC shop to fix the wires that they had crossed up which they couldn't find or fix.
PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOU CAR TO THIS PLACE ,AND IF YOU DO CHECK THIRE WORK BEFORE YOU PAY THEM. Because once they are paid the will not correct any problems or fix any of the problems that they cause.. Would give no star if I could!!! THEY SHOULD HAVE A GOING OUT BINESSES SINGN ON THE FRONT DOOR.????????????
