Surprisingly good restaurant, almost a "hole in the wall" type place but not quite.
Really good food and service, especially their smothered burritos. Only problem I've had is when ordering the sauce to be hot, I often get one with no spice at all, which kinda kills the mood, but the food is still great
Amazing service at what seems like a New Mexican or southwestern restaurant with great green chili rather than what some folks consider "traditional Mexican restaurant". That's is fine by me as it actually what I prefer.They have the real deal green chili madd with a Anaheim type pepper here if that's what you are looking for. Food was great with decent size portions especially for what you pay 7-10 bucks a dish. For level of spice the half and half chili was perfect with a good kick but I could still enjoy the other flavors of my meal so I assume hot or extra hot would have actually lived up to the title but they have a mild option too. Place was very clean. Not super fancy just great food, service and atmosphere so we'll be back.
Mariah is a boss, snowing cold weather and she was the only one here opening up at 630am! Best breakfast burritos in Colorado! Great service always.
Got a smothered bean and beef burrito, it was great. One of the best burritos i have tried at a restaurant. Ladie was very nice. Also went back to try some more food and it was great. I also met with the owners daughter Jessica i believe her name was and she treated every customer that went in there very kind. She checked on me to see how everything was and just had great energy. Thank yous all who work here for the great food and kindness. Much love. Will be back for more.
Oh wow. This is a great place, perfect food and atmosphere. These little places have the best foods. I love tamales and they are fantastic. My wife had a smothered burrito and fell in love Wonderful spot for date night, perfect prices ????, can't wait to try more of these plates
Me and my husband try new places for lunch wile we are on lunch brake from cleaning houses. Dishes where dirty, I asked for a hot steak and bean smothered burito and it wasn't steak and was not hot at all. My husbands tacos weren't cooked all the way...will never be back. Heath investigation needs to be done over here!!
The restaurant was very dull. I wasn’t even greeted when I walked in. Upon receiving my food I ordered two breakfast burritos. One hand held and one smothered, my hand held was smashed by the smothered one, when I got home to eat it my hand held burrito had chile all over the foil on the outside, the whole burrito fell out the bottom, it was incredibly soggy, and the potatoes were still hard. I felt like the tortillas was bought from Target across the street, and the “hot” chile had absolutely no spice to it what so ever. Breakfast burrito I thought included eggs, and if there was eggs I definitely didn’t see or taste any. Super disappointed for my first time in, reminded me of Santiago’s. Probably will not return. My wife has yet to try her smothered breakfast burrito but I can imagine it’s no better.
I've been eating Cafe mexico since 1993 the one westminster then in 96 when I moved to Thornton I started eating the Northglenn. Their food hasn't changed since the first day I went. It's sucks they had to close the sister chain burrito company but I'll be eating here till the day I die
