food and dining seem to be an afterthought here. the menu is boring and seems to be "what can we get for the cheapest possible to pass off as food". There were a few small flat screens on a couple walls that had various sporting events playing. The service was fine, I've had better and I've had worse
In all fairness, it is December, so not exactly "in season" for a golf course restaurant. I'll go back when I'm in town and it's in season to give it a fair shot.
Absolutely delicious food. Big portions low price. Fast service. Definitely recommend.
We would stop here twice a month for a total of six times. Servers were adequate, not friendly. The burgers were meh but we stopped out of convenience. The last straw was when we stopped at 1PM on a Monday, the special was out, there were no burgers to be had so I ordered a wrap. The tortilla was old, the lettuce was limp, the dog ate the chicken which I could not bring myself to. I suggest these folks pivot toward customer service and fresh local beef, chicken, bread. Let me know your thoughts. I will give them another chance if things change.
They said they were open on their google website, and we arrived. we went in to use the restroom and got a table, but someone said they were closed due to a golf tournament. Should have said temporary closed or hours subject to change.
Appears to be a quaint, All American restaurant adjacent to the golf course... a great option for when passing through as there is a lack of restaurants in the area. I had the firecracker shrimp with salad and beer battered fries. All very tasty!
Not a bad cheeseburger, but overcooked. No one asked about how we wanted the burgers cooked.
Our second visit was much improved. Tasty steak.
Took my mom out for Mother's Day. Got there and they were out of Everything! Except salad!. Finally I told the waiter to bring the bill for the salad and we would go elsewhere. Hamburgers and potato chips was not my idea of a Mother's Day dinner!. He left and the Cook came out and said he could put on some filets. We agreed even though it was not what we wanted. Apparently the crowd was big on Saturday night and caused the advertised MD menu to be wiped out. Would have been nice if we had been told at the beginning they had no food instead of waiting almost 45 minutes to figure it out! Everyone was nice and friendly so we appreciated that. Hopefully, we will have better luck the next time.
I had a very enjoyable time while I was there. The staff were amazing. Very friendly, great food and fun to chat with. I recommend Caddy Shack to anyone living in the area or just passing through. Thank you so much.
