Truck is fixed… oh no
Edited to add, the truck had the same problem again. So I had to have it towed there again. It seems there initial diagnosis was wrong. They have had the truck for a month now and it’s frustrating that say the least. Again, great people but if they can’t fix the problem??
3 tow trucks and the truck continues to stop running, it’s obvious they couldn’t fix the problem. Took it to Keith Hawthorne Ford and they found the problem and the truck is fixed… they cost me over 1000.00 in tow truck bills.
Their mechanics know what they’re doing. You may get put on a wait list, but it’s worth it if you need serious work done.

Came recommended by a neighborhood guy. I wish I had stuck with my gut. Was quote one price - for brakes and rotors when picked car up $150 more. Well Single mom lesson learned. Went just down the road and front brakes on same model car a month later with family Got quoted a price and paid exactly.
Found a new mechanic team that's honest.
Can someone please confirm if the shop is still open? I’ve called daily since last week and no one answers. Driven by before and after work during their alleged hours and the gate is always closed. I’ve never got my car serviced here but have considered them having taken into account all the good reviews. My rating is based solely on my inability to make contact with the shop. Nothing more.
As a Charlotte native, Ive been going here for years for my service needs. They are closed on Fridays - Open Mon- Thurs. Great shop trustworthy service. And always a good choice for NC inspections.

I called Byrums to have my fan clutch replaced on my Duramax. Dennis (a mechanic there) told me I could bring it in and they would get it fixed same day. So I brought the truck in, they fixed it in under two hours and I was out the door for around 100ish dollars (I supplied the part) and my issue was fixed.
Look no further and choose Byrums Automotive. You won’t be disappointed.
I’ve used Byrum’s Automotive twice so far and each time the experience has been great. The customer service is outstanding, they are honest and super helpful. I’m very pleased with the service all around and will be using them in the future!!
Love this place! It took some time to get to my van but it was definitely worth the wait! After a leaky coolant hose led to complete engine sieze from over heating while stuck in traffic, I thought it was ruined. It runs better now than when I bought it (used)! The price was fair and exactly as quoted and it was ready earlier than they originally told. Awesome people from the front desk to the shop.
