Went on a gravel bike adventure on the Bizz Johnson National Recreation Trail. Started in Susanville and had lunch in Westwood before heading back. Burger was amazing. Recommend the tater tots too. Everyone was so nice. Sat outside and enjoyed our meal. They were even kind enough to refill our water bottles. Will definitely return.
OH MY GOD this restaurant is a MUST!!! There is some for everyone!! mexican food, american food, FROSTY ice cream, churros! i had two gourmet tacos DELICIOUS!! their tortilla soup was super tasty / southwestern style for sure. their quest dip was an old comfort food fav and it was gone in 30 seconds. my 11 yr old (picky) said the burger was the best he’d had ever. we BARELY sat down and they already had complementary baskets (2) of chips and TWO kinds of salsa on our table. so friendly, owners came to our table to personally welcome us??!! WHO DOES THAT! the vibe was “family” - casual dress (shorts and flip flops were fine) and a giant wide screen TV playing country music. wished we had seen it sooner on our 7 day vacation, we would have gone more than once for sure. (their mexican rice was SOOOO GOOD, flavorful and MOIST!!!)
I love this place. Such a cute place and super clean. The waitress and owners went above and beyond to make our first time there amazing. We will definitely be going back. The food was so good. I love me some churros and I’m picky and they were so stinkin good.
I got to witness the owner pure genuine thoughtfulness and caring for others. It was very humbling to see. She is a gem in this world for sure. That I can tell. That alone would make me go back to this place. But their food is definitely the best around.
Hit this place up on my way back from Eagle Lake. Easy parking even for a big truck and trailer. Owners and staff were great, very friendly and welcoming. Food was brought out incredibly fast service was tops. The carne asada was fantastic and you can tell the food was made with love and top quality ingredients. Overall great experience. Awesome to see good people bringing life into this historic building. Will be back again for sure.
Great service and the food was delicious! Had the build a bowl fajita style and it was delicious and filling. Lindsey is a great waitress!
