If I could give this place a negative star rating, I would. I bought live minnows, and when I got to the lake, 90% of them were dead, and 5% were dying. Wish I had read the previous reviews because I would have never wasted my time or money.
Super friendly folks. Small but helpful selection of tackle. Decent selection of bait choices: minnows, worms, crickets. The ramp and parking are free. Paved lanes wide enough for 2 rigs at a time and a large floating dock on the upstream side.
They are open from 7am to 7pm an they have everything you need to fish they also serve biscuits in the morning, beautiful views an always friendly

The best bait shop in town! They have tons of crickets and tons of minnows! Super nice people with a lot of experience and kindness! Use them any time you need bait. I went to TWO others before stopping here. The other two didn’t have crickets, only worms. How do you only have worms and call yourself a bait shop?
I enjoy the company of the owner, Ferrell Williams and his daughter Angie. They're always good for laughter, love, God and jokes. Bait is always available and VW helps out a lot. Right there by the Chattahoochee river a good location
Awesome people. We forgot sunscreen for my daughter. I went in to buy some but they were out. The lady there gave my daughter her personal sunscreen. Couldn’t have found nicer people. Crickets and worms are cheap too. Very hospitable
Actually went to Rotary Park not Bulldog Bait and Tackle. But I do love the easy access to the Riverwalk. There is a lot less people at this point so it's a great place to go running. You don't have to serpentine around the people sightseeing! It's just a lot more calm and less fishy smelling!
