New to this area and was recommended this place. The wait staff were phenomenal. Our waiter, Brody, was very friendly, knowledgeable on the menu and the event going on locally, and even helped us with off-the-wall questions about the restaurant and events.
Solid portions of the food and really nice quality, with a very quick kitchen. The historic district has a little higher prices due to the area, but well worth it for beautiful ambiance, a great environment, and front row seats for a performance happening outside.
Definitely the place to go if you're looking for good food, a good scene, and quick service.
4 out of 6 dishes were good. Prices are slightly higher than other Italian restaurants. Charging $2.50 for bread with only (4) very small pieces per serving for a table of 7, we had to order two. We ordered a side of asparagus, and it was really overcooked. Our server was new. She was really sweet.
Sorry but this place is closed. Another customer was at the entrance and the owner of the building came out and told us they lost the lease. Apparently an issue with one of the partners on the lease and money. It was a successfull business. The chef was said to be awesome. The signs have been removed. Will eventually be opening as another restaurant with different ideas being considered.
Went for an early dinner with two friends. Parking was easy but finding the entrance was tricky. Our waitress Beth was fabulous. She explained our wine options and was very knowledgeable about the menu. The meatball appetizer alone was worth the trip. My friend had the salmon which was cooked to perfection and another had the ravioli with nice pieces of lobster. I had their homemade pasta with white clam sauce. We met the owner Joe who was very concerned about our enjoyment of the menu. We shared a pistachio cake that was an experience. A bit on the pricey side but worth it.
I’m not sure if they’re even officially open yet, but the food and drinks were an elevated culinary experience! We walked over after a meeting in DTPH and I’m so glad we did! The owners came by and thoughtfully explained the concept and menu. We will definitely be coming back!
First time customers and the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted with smiles and my husband and I felt very welcomed. After being shown our table by the co-partner Kristi - she also graciously went over the menu with us. Shortly after our waiter Tony, was not only very attentive , but made sure that we had all our needs met. And to top the experience all off The owner himself. Joe came over to make sure everything was to our liking. This is a new restaurant in the area of downtown palm Harbor, and it is now our favorite Italian restaurant in Palm Harbor.
This place is THE place to go. It’s so ahead of its time for this area. I’m so glad I came in here … Joe the owner checks in with each table to make sure you’re getting the experience you’re looking for… Kyle was my waiter, and the attention he gave us was fantastic. Don’t miss out on this gem!!!!
When you first step into Buchanan's, you feel classy. As if the whole world is stopping for you. The ambiance feels hollywoodesque! Like you're about to be in a romat8c scene from a movie.
You can feel the authentic Italian vibe through the rustic decor and classic Italian table settings.
The menu is a mixture of classic ittalian medley with a modernistic flare. The in-house hand-made pasta is a signature staple and a must-have!
My opportunity to visit an establishment that served a variety of classic itialian dishes, from traditional Pesto to Itialian octopus, in lemon butter beurre Blanc, was an amazing and memorable dining experience.
The owner and reasturant manager were gracious and accommodating.
Five Stars for great food and a fantastic trip through classic itialian cuisine.
