Wow, what a great place to grab a bite to eat. We first hung out at the bar and had a few of the local beers. Then we grabbed a table for the meal. The menu has lots of choices. They have a bit of everything. I had the brisket platter. It was melt in your mouth amazing. I tried the catfish, and it was very good, too.
Service was amazing. Highly recommend.
We have long been fans of Divine Dining restaurants, so we were excited to try this place for the first time. The dining area is pretty cool with high ceilings and lots of space. Like Nacho Hippo, some colourful chairs. However, the food left a lot to be desired. The $17 Divine Burger, while somewhat tasty, was seriously burnt and dry. Not enough pimento cheese or jalapeño jelly to even get a taste but the collards on the burger were decent. Unfortunately the french fries cooked from frozen were undercooked. It was our server’s second day on the job and I didn’t want to make things uncomfortable for him when he finally checked on us. We’ll stick to River City for burgers.
We started with a basket of hushpuppies. They were really good. I ordered the grilled salmon which came with corn pudding, green beans, and yellow rice. My husband has the fried shrimp with fries, coleslaw and hush puppies. There was plenty of food and it was very good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant! The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Been here a couple times now. Everything we had is good. The pulled pork with street corn was delicious. The beet salad with Mahi was filling and delicious. My son loved the grouper kids meal. They are very attentive and the happy hour is decent as well. They have outside seating and cool decor with a bar. The tv's at the bar would be great to watch games or sports. Thank you for the great service and food. We enjoyed drawing on the paper table lol ????
Visited during my Myrtle Beach trip, this was our time killer before airport. Great place to spend it. Wasn't crowded, great decor. Definitely insta friendly with brightly colored decor.
Ordered the brisket meal that was awesome. Hubby had the catfish and shrimp. Was very satisfied, we ordered the baked beans, and fries as sides. The star of the show was most definitely the fried green tomatoes we ordered first. Hubby had never had them, loved em til the end. Will make this a must stop on next visit. Only complaint...disappointing fries but at least I had beans.

Food was delicious! Fried green tomatoes and fried catfish. Slaw was really good too! My husband had fried oysters and hush puppies and sweet potato fries and loved it as well. Very chill vibe here.
The most memorable part of our visit was Lin, our server. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and food. Lin told us her favorite foods and kept us smiling and laughing. The food was fresh, and tasteful. The restaurant and restroom were clean. As locals, we will definitely be back!
When you go, don't forget to ask to be seated in Lin's section. You won't be disappointed!
Local couple that was craving fried seafood. Fried oysters were really good. Hush puppies were also good. The French fries were salty as well as the fried fish my husband ordered. The fish was so salty he only ate a little bit. Coleslaw was so so and needed some sugar. Drinks a little pricey if you don’t make happy hour. I always try to support Divine Dining and local spots so I hope they see my review! Please tell the chef to lay off the seasoning salt!
