Not gonna lie, I’ve been here 3 times in the past two weeks for the exact same meal. The snow crab dinner, 4 clusters and 2 sides for $36?? That’s amazing! The crab is so juicy and the staff are amazing people! I love eating here & love the food!
We were coming back from vacation and decided to stop by for lunch and this place did not disappoint!!! Everything from the ambiance to the service and especially the food was on point!!! I ordered the seafood platter and onion rings and it was extremely good. We plan on making a trip back very soon!!!
My husband and I came in tonight to celebrate our son’s great grades. We were amazed by the fast service. I mean we were eating our meals within 15 of being there. This is a Wednesday night but still some fast food restaurants can’t even get food to you this quick. And delicious!! I ordered the crab cakes, with cheese grits (of course..gotta have grits!!) husband ordered half pound of shrimp and he was blown away by how many shrimp he got. He also ordered the baked oysters (yum). My son wanted crawfish and crab legs and he was quite pleased. Thank you guys for such a wonderful dinner!!
Raw oysters are super fresh and yummy. Shrimp ???? is clean tasting. Tried both the boiled and fried shrimp. Beer is cold and crab dinner was great A+
My wife and I live in our truck. No. Not homeless. Just making a living. We delivered to a little place around the corner. While they were unloading me, I took a nap. My wife found Bubba Jax on the Google maps. Read the reviews. I love oysters. Any way I can get them, I’ll take them. Sometimes, you order them and they’re small or no flavor. You just never know, but we took a chance. Yup, we rolled the dice. I was taken back to a little three bedroom house with no AC and hardwood floors circa 1974. The only person that could EVER fry an oyster like these was my mother! I’m soon to be 55 this year. I thoughtI was having a spiritual moment. I was taken back to my childhood with each one. Bubba Jax, I come through here a few times a year heading to our home in Florida. If I have the time in my schedule, you can expect my wife and I and our little Bubba Puppy will be there!!
All I can say is AMAZING! We had the fried green tomatoes and the thickness of the tomatoes were perfect, and we had the seafood platter and it was soooo good! The only thing I would improve is the hush puppies were a little over done!
Grouper sandwich is fantastic and the onion rings are so delicious I cannot wait to return. Blacken, grill or fried in the sandwich or as a dinner will certainly keep you coming back for more also.
We ordered 2 salads and they were beautifully presented and also seasoned well. We also ordered oysters Rockefeller and those were so scrumptious. Unfortunately we weren't able to take those with us, but I'm not sure how far they would've went with us anyway. That's just how good they were. I would definitely go back if in the area and recommend this location to locals and visitors alike. The service was great, friendly and fast! Glad that we stopped here and hope to visit again soon
