I walked in and got my hair braided here once and have been a consistent customer since! I always get knotless braids and they come out perfect. One time I had a small issue and the owner had me come back with no hesitation and fixed it. Reasonable prices for great work that lasts!
Reading some of the reviews I was a little hesitant but decided to take the chance anyway and I’m so glad I did!! I’ve got waist length knotless braids. My parts were so clean, my braids are so neat. I came in at 3 and left at 7 only 3 girls worked on my hair (2 at a time) everyone was so sweet!! 10/10. I’m happy that I experienced such a great service and style will be coming back
I’ve been coming here for the past year and they are awesome! The owner is sweet and makes sure you get what you ask for and what you want. I’m very last minute so I do walk ins a lot and they are always very accommodating.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I thought I’d let folks know about my experiences here. I’ve been a regular customer for about 10 years, so there’s a reason for that. My hair has grown tremendously under the stylists care, and they make sure to be gentle with your hair. The styles are on point and the price is definitely worth the quality! I’ve currently been styled by Rose and she is amazing! The owner Jill is professional, fair and kind. If you have questions or concerns she as well as the stylists are always glad to assist and accommodate.
I love Brown Sugar hair braiding, the quality is always wonderful, I get so many compliments every time they do my hair! Ms. Jill makes sure everyone produces quality hair I wouldn’t let anyone else braid my hair! Good people ❤️
Jill and another beautiful lady (sorry forgot her name will update later) did my hair. I came in to get it done for a last min event. The style I got is not popular and this was the only salon I have found that could do it. Jill did make a little mistake doing my hair.when i told her what I didn't like, she immediately apologized and fixed it perfectly with a smile. Great service. I would come again.
0 & when I say 0 I mean it, their customer service skills are unethical, I was greeted after 2-3 mins of being in this horrible establishment, I was scheduled for a 8:30 appointment. When I arrived the workers were not aware of the appointment and didn’t seem to care. I walked out and called the owner, who was nice in the beginning however I decided to give it a try. Went back in, picked the hair, had to receive two different colors due to the low quantity of my choice of hair, went to the chair and one of the braiders began to braid my hair. Throughout that time the braider continued to help with another clients hair, she bumped me while in my chair, knocked my earbuds out and not to mention styling the I correct style I asked for. The manager finally arrived and by that time I had enough, I got and the braider stood in front of me as if she really wanted to do my hair however they wanted to make sure I didn’t take the human hair, like really a pack of human hair & I was paying $350 for my style of choice ugh
I contacted Mame & Dee Hair Braiding located on 1421 W Mt Houston Rd, Houston, TX 77038, same day, walk - in, received my services with the utmost respect and gratitude, my services were treated with care instantly, on top of that I paid less! The energy received from Mame was unmatched- Mame for the win ????
