Whole catfish was very small. The fish was tough to eat. Fries and hush puppies were good.
Visited Brown's Seafood on a recent trip to GA. The fish is always fresh! Fried shrimp was great! My husband and I both enjoyed our meals. Never disappointed when we go to Brown's. Brown's is a little family owned restaurant and fish market. Nothing fancy at all. But good food!
Brown’s Seafood in Ashburn, Ga was delicious! We had the large pick-two plates with perch and shrimp. My husband’s sides were slaw and baked beans and I chose slaw and sweet potato fries. It was all fresh, hot and delicious! The people were friendly. This was our first time; but, we’ll definitely be back!
Everytime I go here, It feels like home. The staff makes me feel just like family. They are just some of the sweetest people. Friday after getting off from work, I had a taste for some seafood, so I ordered a seafood platter, and it was ummm ummm good. So good, I'm ready for some more. I highly recommend this place. They sell fresh seafood, and also cook to order so you'll get it fresh and hot. To me, they have the best coleslaw in town. They also serve lunch. Go check them out. You won't regret it. Prices and menu are subject to change.
I found the food to be fresh,prepared well. Had shrimp,clam strips,fried Okra and potatoe salad. With sweet tea. All was excellent. My wife had mullet and clam strips. She loved hers as well.
Traveling north on I75, the skies went dark as night, and we got a tornado warning. We immediately decided to seek supper right away!
Very glad we found Brown’s! The food was fresh and fabulous. It felt like I stopped off at a friend’s place.

The potions was on the small size. I know food is way up...but 3 spoon fulls of grits! And they are so good too. I had clam strips. Not greasy at all.

This was the worst seafood my group ever had. No flavor, shrimp not battered,out of catfish,mullet and ketchup. The catfish nuggets were tasteless pieces of mush with no salt. ALL OF 4 OF US TOOK OUR FOOD HOME FOR THE DOGS. Real rating is 0 !!
