Best WLM Reviews

We went here last night for a very first time but we just picked up food and took it home and ate there. I totally agree with what everybody else is saying me and my husband went ahead and tried the shrimp sandwich it was amazing there was so much shrimp and so many French fries I literally only took three bites out of my sandwich before I was full. One of my daughters had a fried chicken sandwich she loved it she had bought a sandwich from KFC the night before and said that she didn't get full off of it she was full of this one and she said it was very good. My other daughter got the chicken tenders and french fries and it look delicious she said it was very good. All in all we were very happy with our food they give you a lot of food for the amount that you pay you get your money's worth. Everybody up there was very nice does too they were welcoming it felt good. There's places you walk in sometimes and the people are mean and rude and it makes you just want to turn around and walk out and not give them your service but not this place they're sweet they're nice they're welcoming and their food is amazing and there's plenty of room for whoever wants to come or bring their family. You can also get drinks they have a bar in here the drinks look really good too. Come check the Brown Lantern out so far the best place I've ate at in Live Oak. Also the fried ???? were very good too.
My husband and I come here everytime we're in town! They have the best fries and sweet tea. The service was awesome like it always is, the only down side is if you have a large group like we did, then you'll be eating outside with all the patrons waiting to be seated.
Nice place a little way off the interstate. We stopped in to try a local joint. Too many chain fast food places close to the interstate. Burger was good. I’m not sure world famous, but better than fast food. Tons of fries. And then purple Cole slaw was surprisingly good. Much better than it looks.
It was loud, can't hardly hear each others. The 3 receptionists were cute and friendly, other than that, all the servers were unfriendly, not a smile from any of them!!! The food was mediocre. The hamburger has the taste and smell of freezer burned. I do however enjoyed their coleslaw.
Such an unpleasant experience, high price and unfriendliness. We will not supporting an establishment that don't welcome us.
There is No Hostess, so walk in, find a booth or table and sit. The waitresses do an excellent job, they will bring you a menu and attend to you. Decor is pretty cool and keeps you looking at all the different things on the walls. Food is very tasty and arrives hot. I had the 12 mild flavored wings, with black beans and yellow rice, a side of coleslaw and blue cheese dipping sauce. Enough to eat half there and take the other half for lunch the next day. There is a jukebox that people had music playing from. Very nice eating experience, would definitely return!
I'm from out of town. A local recommended this place. I can't say enough good things about it. The server was super sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. She recommended the shrimp sandwich (pictured). Everything was hot and tasted super fresh. The beer was ice cold and the prices were in line with with the quality of the food and service. Next time I come through Live Oak I'll be stopping at the Brown Lantern.
Everything was delicious! Despite a full parking lot, we didn’t wait long for a table. Chicken wings were huge and the veggie sides were seasoned well. My burger was gigantic and topped with everything. The appetizer potato skins were fresh and very cheesy-definitely sharing size! The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our drinks were always full of delicious strawberry lemonade that had actual strawberries. Very affordable and large portions. Highly recommend.
It's was a night out for 3 senior ladies, one of them celebrating a birthday. The food was delicious, presentation could have been better. If you want fries the way they aren't done anymore definitely get some. ????Jacob waited on us and made the experience more enjoyable. The juke box was a little to loud but otherwise this was a very good time.
