So I had a alternator put on here 4 months ago and my car had been having problems with starting and loosing power so I took it back to him cause I had it checked at oreilys and it had a bad voltage regulator , he tells me that the machine is only as good as the operator and tells me nothing was wrong with my car and says drive it for two days and get a oil change and see what happens, well I had to get my car towed home and it is now worse then what it was so it’s been sitting
I went for a wheel balance, oil change and rotation, my car shook so bad afterwords I thought my tire's where going to fall off. This is how much my front tires where off on the balancing. they told me my tires where bad and I need brake which ik I didn't at all cause I ust to be a mechanic. I went to big o's and they fixed it cause brooks messed it up and they also put regular oil instead of synthetic in it and wrote on the sticker it was synthetics they ripped me off 94 dollars and had to pay 80 more for it to be fixed. If I could jive negative service they would get it. I don't recommend anyone going to this place.
I’ve taken a couple of my vehicles here. They are great guys, they will spend some time talking to you if you need more explanation or just want to chat. Their rates are reasonable and they are generally quick to get the job done if you are specific about what you want fixed.
I had a bad CV joint develop on my car and I needed an oil change. I took it to brooks and I was given a surprising low cost for parts and labor of $337, beforehand, I had seen that prices can range from $200 to upwards of $800 for the CV joint replacement.
I then dropped the car off at 8:45 AM and was expecting the car to be there over the weekend like most places, however, they got it done the SAME day at 2:40 PM. I was extremely impressed. My car is running well now and I can no longer hear the bad CV joint popping sound I heard before on top of my engine oil being changed.
This is the most trustworthy group of people. I ALWAYS take my stuff to him.. i once had what i thought were major issues and after a day Barry called me and told me it was ready and so when i showed up he said ironically it was a lose bolt you don't owe us anything! I will always return!

I was trVeling back from Ft. Wayne In.to Smithville TN. While on I65 about 20 miles north of Bowling Green my battery light came on. I knew I was deatine to break down if it wasn't dealt with ASAP. I decided to chance driving to Bowling Green in hopes of finding a repair shop that could help me and get me back on the riad quickly and fairly. I exited at the corvette museum' and googled car repair near me. Brooks was the first to pop up and had a five star rating. I will tell you I had dollar signs dancing in my head I figured I was in for a big bill. Brooks took care of me right away and at a price I would definitely not argue with. These folks are great, fast and more than fair. I thought the least I could do for them was leave this very well deserved 5 star review. Thanks Brooks!
This will be on my list of go-to mechanics. That list is very small. They fixed the problem at a very reasonable price. Good business. ????
