If you want the best cut in the DMV, make this your barber shop! Great barbers and they respect all customers appointments & walk-ins. Over look all the complaint comments made because in all the years I've gone there (since 1989) I've never seen any one get a bad cut or anything else negative happen.
A clean, well established barbershop, but they take an unnecessary long time to cut hair. I've watched two separate barbers there and both seem to take far longer than they need to. I asked for a buzz cut and, while I am very satisfied with the final result, they took too long to do it. I recommend calling ahead for a time slot so that you don't need to wait for other patrons to be done.
Further, the shop tends to be pretty expensive. They charged me $25 for the buzz, plus an extra $3 for using a credit card rather than cash.
Other than that, the location is very convenient, so I will likely go back.
Well, walked in looking for a the sides of my hair ( NOT THE MOHAWK ) to be cut down to a 1/1.5 with NO Trimming....I walk out with a bald Fade and ended with the barber attempting to Trim my hair. Probably a good barbershop. But for my first experience, Didn’t end up with a barber LISTENING to my request.
Took my son so we could both get a cut. Dude charged $25 for my son. He only used clippers, no scissors and butchered my kids straight thin hair. He was on and off the phone the whole time or scolding and spanking his 4 year old grand daughter. For the same price and a better experience go to Signature Cuts on U st.
This was the best barber shop. Not sure when they're coming back but i miss it. Havent had a good hair cut since covid shut them down
I would not go to this shop. The guy Bay that did my hair did not cut my hair like I asked and later on that day the back of my neck was red and swollen with pain. A day later where it was swelling at I now have a long cut across the back of my neck. I called Bay and got no answer I then
Texed him and sent him a picture of what my neck looks like, I got no response. I would not recommend this barber shop to no one. Most definitely not to Bay.
Professional hair cut in a genial neighborhood barbershop environment, On a Friday afternoon, there were three experienced barbers on duty and I was the second customer in line. Walk-ins only. Basic men's hair cut $25.
Frank has been my barber since I relocated to the metro DC area in 2008. In the nine years I've lived in the area, there's only been twice that I allowed someone else to cut my hair. I now live in the Annapolis area and I drive to DC to allow Frank to cut my son and I hair ... Excellent service!!!
