Absolutely terrible food experience. Went for dinner last night after calling ahead to make sure there was room and being told yes. Staff was extremely overwhelmed. Waited an hour and a half for food, ordered bbq pork nachos not sure what the "bbq" was, it was dry smoked pork. I ordered no sour cream and it came with sour cream on it. Furthermore, there was almost no cheese on the nachos. They were cold as was the food the rest of the table got. Couldn't flag down the server because she was too busy. Drink menu was a hand written piece of note paper. Wraps were missing half the ingredients. One of my friends had to go up and ask for the rest of their wrap fillings.
Having been here before and it being a good experience I wasn't worried, and if there had been someone that looked like a manager to complain to, we would have. I won't waste my money here again any time soon.
Great restaurant in the North Reddington Beach area....some favorites are the Fried Green Tomatoes, Muscles Mania, & the Steak Bowl!!!!
I came here last year for the 1st time & definitely had to make sure to come back again on my current visit.....the owner & staff were super friendly....also loved the outside eating area was super cute....the tables were surf boards!!!!
Highly recommend the Mahi, the Pina colada sauce was so good on it. They did mess up the person's order who was with me by not leaving out the beans but not a huge deal. They also handled an unhappy patron (not the resturants fault) very graciously. The place has a super laid back feel and the staff was super nice.
This was our first time here. The menu online looked delicious, but we were a little apprehensive when we got there and saw the smallish dining room. However, the super-quick and friendly servers and quality of the food turned our apprehension around! We had the fried green tomato appetizer, they were delicious. For dinner, we had the Drunken Shrimp Scampi - the white wine sauce was amazing- and the Chicken Caprese. Both dishes were fresh, hot, and scrumptious. If we lived closer, we’d definitely be back more often.
I got the shrimp & grits for $22 and it was worth every dime! I don’t mind paying a little extra for great quality. I really liked the tea as well. The staff is extremely friendly and fast. I received my food in less than 10 minutes and the restaurant was half full at the time. I will absolutely be coming back here for the food!
Let me start by saying, if you’re looking for made from scratch, delicious food, YOU NEED TO EAT HERE!! My husband and I tried this place for the 1st time right after our wedding ceremony on the beach tonight, and let me tell you IT EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS!! The PB & J Brussel sprouts were amazing (pictured below)!! We ordered tacos, Drunken Shrimp Scampi, and a Key Lime dessert! Some of the most delicious food either of us have ever had! The owner is awesome and you can tell he really cares about his restaurant and quality! Service was amazing! Definitely on our top 5 best restaurants of all time and we will be back!!
Lunch was good. We had the Drunken Shrimp Scampi, Blackened Shrimp Bowl, and Fried Green tomatoes. Serving size was large.
It didn't feel very welcoming,
We were not greeted when we came in and ended up just seating ourselves which was fine I guess -
Our waitress was a little awkward and( not to be rude )- but looking a little unhygienic. But she was nice enough.
They also don't have straws.
The table we sat at was next to a window- the window seal was quite gross.
I was a little concerned about the cleanliness of the kitchen, but I ate my food- and it did taste good.
Sharon was great ????..so nice patient sweet..we smell the smoker mile away and we love the results..we will be back..Thank you
