Professional, punctual, and most importantly pleasant. I would rather shave my head than have my hair braided anywhere else in the area.
I got a twist put in when I left the shop. The twist looked great. The next day, all my twists from the middle to the back of my head were frizzy. The front still looks great. I have been redoing my twist a section at a time. I'm on the fence about going back. I want to because it's close to my home, but for 180.00 plus tip, I shouldn't be redoing anything. Also, I washed and blowed and dried my hair the night prior to my appointment.

There are so nice they do your hair actually right they make you look good make you feel good they comfort you when your crying and they say it's okay it's almost done they are really nice.
It's hard for me to give this rating. Part of me wants to give them another try, yet I'm not sure.
I tried Brigitte African Hair Braiding its closer than the other shops and a friend recommended her. I'm big on reviews, and noticed a past co-worker had posted a positive review.
I am greatly saddened by my experience. My first disappointment is with the length of my hair. I have short hair, and typically prefer short braids. They style i wanted was a bob and I was told they couldn't do it. They offered the short hair for box braids which i thought would still be shoulder length. It went to the middle of my back. I understand a bob couldn't be done but I was hoping to at least have my wish of length. I ALWAYS have troubles getting short braids. I expressed my concern all said and done. They cut it a little more and said I can cut it at home (when I asked). If that is the case I felt like it could have been braided to my requested length.
My final grievance is that I got my braids done for my ENGAGEMENT photos today. I wanted to get them done a couple of weeks in advance so my head wasn't too tender etc. My braids typically last a long while. My edges and baby hairs have slipped anywhere from 1/2 inch to an inch. Never happened before. This is heartbreaking as I am now having to individually rebraid those strands to make it look nice. The center held up nicely but of course will not be as visible as the front and edges. I will admit I did not call back to explain or ask them to fix the individual braids (i knew i could do it right) I was just overall frustrated and didn't want them to mess it up a second time so to speak. I paid 180 hair included and I ALWAYS tip 20-30 dollars. Definitely disappointed compared to the other shops.
EDIT: I'm losing braids from the scalp.. while on vacation. Never has happened before. I will not be back.

It was my first time visiting this shop and I’ll definitely be back. Everyone was professional and productive — I was done in about 4 hours. Price was well worth the style ????????
