Best WLM Reviews

We have heard great things about this location and finally got to try it today for Sunday Brunch! Very busy with a wait, but the line moved quickly and we were seated within 15 minutes. The atmosphere is welcoming and the team working were super nice & friendly, while servicing a packed restaurant. Kaitlyn B. was our server snd she was awesome! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Our food was all amazing! Fried Green tomatoes, home fries and Blueberry & Lemon Curd Stuffed Pancakes and Berry French Toast…highly recommend for anyone interested. Can’t wait to come back again!
Went here for the first time today and was super pleasantly surprised. It's busy and crowded, but the food and service more than made up for it. I had the Soft Scrambled eggs with Parmesan and Black Pepper and they were honestly the best eggs I've ever had. Our table also shared a side of truffle fries and we all loved them. Portions were big and everyone loved what they got. I will definitely return!
My husband and I had the Very Berry French Toast and the Brown Butter Waffle with pecans. Hands down the best French toast and waffle I've ever had and I love the way they roll the eggs. The eggs were ordered as a side option, and once brought to the table, we realized we only needed one portion. Portion sizes are pretty good, but they are not cheap. Our meal plus tip was about $100.00. The space was a little tight (hence, me taking away a star), but I didn't feel completely uncomfortable to the point I wanted to leave . Will definitely return, and the Wintwr Park area is great for walking off some of those calories afterward.
We loved the atmosphere, beautiful place. The food was GREAT. Zero complaints. We went around 1pm for lunch. The menu we looked at was not the same pricing as the bill. My husband ordered the short rib Benedict, on the menu said 18.95 & on the bill was $35. We didn’t say anything we paid it no issue. BUT major thing was after placing our order the waiter randomly asked my husband did he want hot sauce with his meal? The meal wasn’t a spicy meal or required any additional condiments. I think it could have been worded better.
I recently visited Briarpatch Restaurant during my vacation from Georgia, drawn by the rave reviews and enticing photos of their brunch offerings. Despite the line snaking outside, the wait was surprisingly short, and the bustling atmosphere added to the excitement.
Opting for the Raspberry and Brie French Toast priced at $19, I was treated to a delightful symphony of flavors. The melted Brie and raspberry jam created a perfect harmony, making every bite a heavenly experience. The bustling crowd didn't hinder the exceptional service we received.
My sister opted for the Southern Breakfast priced at $20, featuring two eggs, 3 fried green tomatoes, 2 thick-cut applewood smoked bacon strips, and stone-ground heirloom cheese grits. She wisely added a side of Short Stack Pancakes for $13, along with fresh fruit. The pancakes were a highlight, with a buttery texture, crispy edges, and a burst of flavor enhanced by the syrup.
The Southern Breakfast, turned out to be a generous portion—more than enough for two. The scrambled eggs with cheese were a savory delight, and the thick-cut fried green tomatoes, though unusual to me, were surprisingly tasty. If you're sharing, this is a winning choice.
While I'm unsure about any additional charge for the fresh fruit on the pancakes, the overall experience at Briarpatch was exceptional. The inviting ambiance, swift service, and, above all, the delectable Southern-inspired dishes make it clear that I'll be returning for more. Highly recommended for a memorable brunch experience!
My first time visiting Briarpatch and it was a lovely experience other than the atrocious parking ????????‍♀️????????‍♀️. I'm sorry, it took me forever to find parking and I almost went back home. However, I've been wanting to come for such a long time I sucked it up and keep looking and finally found a spot about 7 minutes away. Ot was worth the walk. The food was delicious and the service was great. I had peach bellini I believe and steak and cheese eggs. It was absolutely delicious. Some of the best eggs I've ever had! Definitely worth the wait. I'll be going back but early and hopefully traffic and parking will be better.
One of the most consistently outstanding restaurants on the planet. I had the Prime Bacon Jam burger today …. a new standard has been set. French toast, pancakes, breakfast torta sandwich, and steak and eggs could all serve wonderfully as last meals. Hats off to this chef and the owners. ????????????????‍????
I've always passed by here, but this time I decided to stop with my family and try it...AND IT WAS DELICIOUS! There was some line (they said 30 min. wait but it was more like 15), but it moved quickly to eat in. However, we decided to sit outside (a bit cold though, some heaters would've been great). I tried the Bacon and Mushrooms Omelet, my husband tried the Turkey Sandwich and my Mom tried the Almond Butter Tartine and OMG all was delicious. The cocktail I tried was the Bourbon Blackberry Lemonade and I must say, WOW! The teas were great too. Jared our waiter was awesome. The place is well staffed and all were nice. I will return!
