Best WLM Reviews

I went for brunch on a Sunday at 12pm so it was pretty empty by 2 is when the place started to get crowded. The server was friendly, continuously checked on us, you can order on iPads or with the waiter. There was a dj, you can take great photos in this place. The food came fairly quickly after we ordered. The churro chicken and waffles is really good the chicken was well seasoned, The tacos are really good we had fish and jerk chicken tacos. The mango margarita was good, the strawberry one was nasty. The pizza was underwhelming very basic and small considering they own the pizza shop next door.
The food was delicious and there were very creative fusions like jerk empanadas. I think the servings are a bit small for the price but the cost of everything has gone up. Really fun artsy vibe great for photos. There was a DJ there when I went which was a Saturday which can be a fun addition but people go to a restaurant to talk to each other too and we couldn't hear each other over the music. I think it would have been nice to just have the DJ doing background music especially at brunch.
Amazing all together! The service was incredible! Very welcoming and attentive. The food was delicious and I craved it the very next day! I had the jerk chicken Mac & cheese & also shared the oxtail pizza. Definitely did not disappoint. In regards to drinks I had the margarita float that brings 4 diff marg flavors. Each was sooo good! Definitely worth getting especially if you are a margarita lover! The DJ was dope had us singing in the middle of eating! The only thing is that the music was a bit too loud. But overall highly recommended to visit, eat and enjoy breuklyn tequila!
Came here on a Saturday night for dinner to celebrate my cousins birthday. Reservations are highly recommended for this spot, given that it does get crowded with larger group parties. I've seen this spot frequently on tik tok and Instagram.
As soon as you pull up to the restaurant, we were greeted by security where IDs were checked and our purses. As soon as you walk in, there is a beautiful spacious bar. Décor in this restaurant is beautiful. Great for photos. We were immediately seated at our table. Our waiter Tim shortly came after with the tablet menu. We were told by the host that we have an hour and a half to sit and eat. So our time was limited. Thankfully, it wasn't that packed, so we were able to take our time to eat and vibe out to the music.
For drinks, we wanted frozen margaritas. Our waiter informed us that their frozen margaritas were not available at the moment due to the machine still spinning to make the drinks frozen. We ordered rum punch instead. As we looked at the menu, we saw a few things we wanted to try were sold out. We were first disappointed with the frozen drinks not available, and now certain foods were sold out. For appetizer, we ordered regular chicken wings and chili lime wings, and for our main entrée, we ordered oxtail mac and cheese and the jerk chicken mac and cheese.
Our appetizer came out before our cocktails. We waited a long time for our drinks. After we finished our appetizer is when our drinks arrived at our table. The regular wings were nice and crispy. They were seasoned well and had a little spice to it. Chili lime wings were my least favorite. It tasted like regular BBQ sauce. Now on to the oxtail and jerk chicken mac and cheese. The presentation on the dish was nice. There was so much cheese that you could not find the macaroni. The jerk chicken and oxtail were buried under the cheese. The oxtail had a nice flavor. The chicken did not taste like jerk chicken. It was just chicken breast diced up with a little hint of spice. I would have liked to see more macaroni than cheese. I love cheese, but it was a bit much. The pictures that we saw of the macaroni and cheese dish all had the meat on top, and ours was buried under all the cheese.
The dj played a variety of mixed music, which was good. Hookah is available at this spot. Moving on to the bathrooms. There are only two bathrooms available. One for men and one for women. Men were using the women's bathroom. The door to the women's bathroom does not lock correctly. The bathroom can use some upgrades such as painting and décor and new locks.
Overall vibes are good here, and music is good. Drinks were strong. I definitely think they should update their menu with the items that are sold out.
Overall, I enjoyed this restaurant. I gave the food four stars because the Belgian waffle was moist but can use more flavor like cinnamon/nutmeg and vanilla extract. My daughter enjoyed the fried chicken wings, and I really enjoyed the delicious shrimp and grits
Wasn't really happy about the service and the food and our waitress. She over charged us KNOWING she came over to us gave us 2 drinks on the house but put it on the bill sneakily. I wasn't expecting a club like vibe with the hookah. The food was okay like a 6 out of 10. I would go back for the music and maybe shots but the food could be better. And yall tried it with that small cast iron oxtail Mac and cheese. Definitely not worth $20. The rum punch wings was good though really good and the oxtail empanada. The workers need to be more helpful. The tall light skin dude with braids barely wanted to help us after we couldn't find our waitress. Respectfully idk if I would come back though. I need a do over. Wasn't impressed.
My first review of the new year.
I don't normally drive into Brooklyn but my cousins and I came here for brunch.
On first walking up it looks very regular until you look up and see the name of the establishment and it's surrounded by flowers.
Once you walk in it's bright and we was greeted right away.
On to the orders.
We all did a round of Blue Mother F's
I ordered the Braised Lamb Chops with Mashed Potatoes and I substituted the Brussel spurts for a salad. My sister got the Fried Fish w/ Cheddar Grits, my cousins ordered the Oxtail Mac N Cheese, the Shrimp N Cheddae Grits and finally The Seafood Stuffed Red Snapper.
I tried some of everybody's dishes and I have to say everything was absolutely delicious.
My food was so good I basically (licked) my plate clean lol. The red wine sauce on the Lamb Chops was finger licking good, especially as some of the sauce got on the mashed potatoes.
The environment of the restaurant was so chill and peaceful. It didn't feel rushed or anything. Between our waitress T and the Manager Jo is was an all around great time and that's not including our move to the bar.
Solo Marie was friend and knowledgeable of the items on the menu. I'm a Tequila lover and she talked the Tequila Flight up so good I had not 1 but 2 of them lol.
When I say I would come back to BK it's because I will definitely be back here.
Always a good vibe and great music. We came during a slower time on Sunday. We ordered shrimp tacos, ox tail mac & cheese, and oxtail gumbo. The food came out pretty fast and was very good. I also ordered the Rum punch which was very delicious. If you are visiting here just know it is a bit pricey and the portions are a bit on the smaller side so keep that in mind.
They do have hookah also i do believe it is $40 for the whole time you there :)
